Yeah, Exactly. Some days ago I read a document on ANRime about this whole memories stuff and how it's inspired by Muv-luv, it was great. You should read it if you haven't already.
@@leontoeides it's all because of season 4. People always believe in what they see with their eyes, so they only saw this as an actual thing, when season the manga ending arrived

I can pretty much say that in this peaceful timeline Mikasa made in her mind she would still meet her future friends besides Armin after she grieved the lost of her friend Eren like Jean, Connie and Sasha as well as Historia somehow but it's still wouldn't be the same without him around unfortunately.
Why wouldn’t Mikasa meet Armin? Armin was literally Erens best friend lol. If anything, most of the people you named she wouldn’t have met as they only knew eachother from the survey corps.
I think this is one of the strongest proofs of AOE. Or just in general timelines but at the same time why include multiple timelines as cannon if not to use it in the main story. Either way this is a huge thing mainly Mikasa's story. I'm not sure if the other Ova's have any big things from memory.
The paths connect through time and space, allowing certain people with a connection to them to get glimpses into the past and future (titans mostly), but given what Eren said they also connect to alternate timelines, along with completely different worlds entirely. Mikasa seems to have the ability to glimpse into these different realities in a similar way titan shifters see into their predecessors' lifes. Most likely due to her connection to Eren, or it could be her Ackerman blood having a stronger connection to the paths given their immunity to the King's will. The mirror man in this OVA was probably Eren attempting to communicate with Mikasa so that she stops subconsciously looking for a timeline where he'll be safe, because his life has been marked for death in all. ------ A bit of a side tangent, but AoTs mythology seems to be very loosely based off the Norse myths. For example, Ymir is the name of the first giant/titan in both, the number of titan shifters corresponds to the number of realms in myth and "the source of life" could either be the jormungandr, or more likely the nidhogg. A creature that eats the roots(paths) of the world tree, which seems apt since Eren's founding titan power was to control fate. These alternate timelines and realities are probably different branches on the world tree (which we saw many times in the series) just as the difference realms are in myth.
If you’ve been following all the evidence hopechads have compiled, you’ll know that we PROVED that “long dreams” are always memories.

Didn't you people deny it first when it was revealed Eren decided to break away with Mikasa in a past timeline? 💀

Lol imagine the rumbling never happens because Eren dies in a balloon crash
And because eren died so suddenly, mikasa RESETS the timeline.
1:49 this part got my Goosebumps sticking out so hard that it almost hurts.😳😱😮🤯😲
I never realized how massive this hopium is. IT WAS PLANNED.

I’m pretty sure the other ova’s are just background info for the story ( like the ymir and historia stuff, and annie story )
Nice job, wild dogs. 👍
Well there's another timeline where Eren and Mikasa fled together leaving behind their comrades and everything.
Which ova is that
@@vikrant1401 sorry it's still not animated yet in anime. I think it will got animated in next final part 2/3.
I am pretty sure that Armin, Jean, Connie and Sasha are dead because of their negligence and leaving them behind to their terrible fate
There are no timelines in aot
I am just confused after watching so many explanations, and everyone has their own interpretation. I am just confused. Help me guys :(
Its all hopium its not real dont worry about it.
Just watch the show. Aoe isnt real
It's just stuff made up by fans that is not cannon.
Basically the ovas focusing on mikasa is just like that panel where they live their lives happy. Irrelevant to the actual story and erens goal.
