Hi. I'm here today to do a technical detail on updating the software on the Greenheck advanced touchscreen.
I’m going to start by showing how we update the software for the human interface. That is the actual touch screen part of it. The first thing that we're going to do is remove the beauty plate. The next thing that we're going to do is connect this USB adapter.
Please note that this does have an orientation and it is not reversible. To begin, I'm going to navigate to the question mark menu, which shows us our version information and for demonstration sake this time I'm not going to connect that USB connector fully and hit update. We can see that none of the buttons here are working. I'm going to cancel and this time I'll connect that USB connector.
I'll touch and hold here for a few seconds. Move back to update and here we can see that the next button will work. Tap the next button and in a few seconds, the upgrade process will begin. Here we can see that it's updating the HMI.
This will take a couple of minutes. We can watch this progress bar go and as soon as the screen changes we’ll be okay to remove the USB drive. The only other step will have to take here will be to snap that beauty plate back on and then we can move over to updating the controller inside the box.
