*DISCLAIMER: There's a slight error at the start with the dimensions, you need a 7 block gap between each side of the river for the bridge.

The spruce tree house seems like the most flexible and fun of all of the options.
If you want to expand it, you can either add a new floor, or add more trees separate from the main one, maybe even with bridges above the ground.
If you need a floor to be larger than the tree allows, you can expand the floor outwards with decorative supports underneath.
You don't even need to have the area fully inside a tree, maybe it could just be a single large tree with a balcony wrapped around it.
If the tree's not tall enough, you can add a layer of dirt on the top of the trunk, grow another spruce tree on top, and replace the layer of dirt with spruce logs.
Just image how during the beginning of the game, it would just be a single large tree, but by the end, it would be a whole forest of spruce trees of different sizes, with houses integrated into some of the larger trees, and bridges between many of them, maybe even integrate an entire taiga village into the thing!

I have a question , why did he name the title starter base and use a sponge to get rid of the water that took me 69420 hours to find
@@fridex_x445 just use a block to block the water 🥹
@@fridex_x445 they said you can use a sponge, if you didn't have a sponge you could use the alternative way he showed right after using the sponge. you only have to place blocks in the places that there is water and destroy them, the water will go away.

Guys keep in mind that you can decorate this however you want so the paintings and difrent types of furnaces don't count!!

btw its been a long time and I tried the third one in 1.20 but it doesn't work 😭😭😭, the first 4 sappling grow without any problem at all but as for 2nd and so on, they just won't grow please help I really wanted this build 😭😭😭

To be completely honest, the 1st night house usually ends up bein my permanent home for me for reasons that I don't know but the benefits of it are quite good. =)
Very cool builds, I can't wait to have more of an "eye" for things. I made a really cool ender portal entrance with the planks from the Nether world and a few other things. Right now i'm building a prison camp
Never thought of a tree base like that! Would also excellent for jungle and mangrove trees too. My next village might just feature a few of these houses.
I like your builds so much they are very useful and the tree house is great because you can get wood but at the same time have a shelter.

Are there any special rules that need to be followed when making the Spruce Treehouse?
I'm asking because I am trying to make one the way you did yours and I have only been able to get a 2x2 tree to spawn. I have gone through almost 100 bone meal and none of the other saplings are cooperating.

@Denise 9876 I managed to get it done, but not like how the video showed. I did 4 2x2 squares to make the large trees, but had to put 2x2 gaps in between. This gave me that majority of the 6x6, but I ended up growing extra trees to transfer the logs over and fill in the gaps to make the 6x6. I'm thinking of making is a 10x10 because 6x6 is a little small for what I'm doing.

Use bone meal
I use it, but they didn't grow
@@Tina-fh2fj first clear out a 3x3 space so the trees can grow, then use bonemeal
@@Tina-fh2fj just clear out a huge space and look at northwest position when using bonemeal (using f3)

I love these ideas for the starter bases - I've already watched a handful and they are such awesome ideas!! I love the spruce tree one that you did in this video. I really like the idea of the bridge starter base however the not-so-wide aspect of it I'd have to change, or build out or something because that just messes with my claustrophobia LOL

I usually don’t make starter house that beautiful I just make a cube house with a wood surrounding it and place a couple of glasses and add a roof and replace the floor and then I live inside it

I love watching Minecraft videos on building houses.
I noticed that most of the materials for the first night house can be um.... acquired... from a decent taiga village if you're in a rush! I think everything but the painting and oak sapling can show up there!

Ooo the tree base fit PERFECTLY, especially since I spawned near the mountains with some spruce trees. I even added a hot spring and a wood cabin!

Me wondering how you are supposed to have a painting, three kinds of furnaces, an armor stand with an iron chestplate, and a flower pot on your first night:
The outside of the base is possible in the first night, then just add the interior stuff as and when you get it
