I really wish I could get hold of a new one here in the UK but it has been discontinued. I used to have this game as a child. It scared the living crap out of me. I think my mum got rid of it because she knew I was living in fear of it! It's funny that I want one now.
There's a little orange switch you can flick if you want to stop it sooner. However, in order to get the board to come back up you do have to let the timer finish and let it pop!
My sister & I played this Perfection game. I think it's in my parents' attic with Hungry Hippos, Lite Brite, Connect Four, Clue, Monopoly, Operation games. The game sometimes scared me when it popped up if I didn't have all the pieces matched up in time. Right now, I think of TV dating shows such as The Bachelor & The Bachelorette. The lead & contestants are trying to match up in all departments on limited time such as this game. If shapes & pieces don't match, they won't, regardless of "timer".
Hi, I know you could get a new one from a store like Toys R Us, but as for an old version one I would maybe try to see anyone is selling one on Ebay (or any other website like that). Hope you find one :-).
Man the timeless hours spent on my Grandmas living room floor playing this, Simon, and my hand held electronic football game.
I agree, it is funny how as adults we want the toys we used to own, maybe so we can relive the good ol' days :-).
I remember playing that game when I was a kid

Yes, you need to beat the timer by getting all the pieces in on time. It can get your nerves going especially if you've never played it before ;-).
