Lucemyra or Lofexidine is an FDA-approved treatment for Opiate Withdrawal. Brand name Lucemyra is an Alpha Agonist medication that effectively and nearly completely reduces acute opiate withdrawal. I was skeptical. Now I'm a believer.
Cost aside...People need medications like these that WORK. I work in a PHP setting, and I see so many going back on Suboxone due to not being able to push through those lingering feelings. This is a valuable tool for those working towards complete abstinence. Thank you for the info! You are the man! I know you are helping so many people out there in California. I wish more doctors here in Georgia were like you. These doctors can't think past the information they are given from pharma companies, or they are working off of information from 30 years ago. It's sad and it hinders people from actually getting help. You have completely changed the game when it comes to MAT and getting people away from illicit substances in general. I'm sure many people in that community are grateful for you. Thank you for being one of the good ones!
I had no idea that you had a UA-cam channel. I’ve already watched many of them. I’ll talk to you soon. Blessings,Carlos ✝️🙏❤️😊🇺🇸
This is greatly appreciated, thanks for caring and being so passionate about helping people struggling with the disease of
Addiction. Content like this is truly priceless!
God I’d die for your help. I’m one step away from losing my son and being homeless and I can’t stop because of the terrible withdrawals and nobody will help me because I don’t have some private insurance. I’m the same as people with private insurance! We are all addicted to something and wanting more than anything in this entire world to get off. Get away from the terrible relationship i feel trapped in and get my life back. It’s been gone for over 10 years and id give anything at this point for someone to see that I’m not a waste, that if I can get help to get off these damn drugs then I can be such a wonderful mom my son deserves. But people see right past that and into your bank account and that is the only way someone is given the chance ti live and not die. Is the amount of money they have. I will have a lot once I’m sober that I promise. Can’t I pay then? I need help please.
I 110,000% feel exactly what you just described! It sucks. Huge sucks. I'll keep you in prayer, Lord knows we all need it. 🙏
This stuff is FANTASTIC. Got this in detox and asked them if I could just stop taking subs too- they refused lol. But yeah clonidine has such bad side effects for me- Lofexidine was FUCKING awesome
So you have tried this? What is it usually prescribed for? How did it make u feel
Alot of people don't know about this. more people should!
Thinking of changing my insurance and driving 5 hours just to come see you. Ive been on suboxone for 7 months but still havent been able to stop using fentanyl. I did use your microdosing to get on subs though. Thank you 👍
Hey how's everything going with you now???
We’re you able to stop the fety
No I'm still struggling. Don't know what to do. I've been more sick this year being on subs than any other year of my.life
@Tloc111 sorry to keep asking questions but why have u been more sick being on subs? From not taking them or another reason???
@@Tloc111kratom helped me stop taking my subutex but I was only taking 2mg for the last yr before I stopped. Try the OPMS liquid extract shots, don't use them for more than 2 weeks or you will have withdrawals from kratom same as opiates.
Your a honest genuine physician thank you sir.
Love your content. Woukd you administer this over ketamine for fentynal. Thank you sir. You are helping so many.
I would offer it in addition to low dose ketamine. If I had to pick one, I'd use lofexidine.
Who is the rep or company or 3rd party that my doctor needs to contact?
Looking for treatment options because I’m so tired of dependency on this drug. I’ve been on opioids since 10 years old I’m 29 and would rather deal with my back pain than take fentanyl.
Well nad + makes a massive difference too.
Hey, so what would be the cash price for that drug? More or less
Clonodine makes me feel like I'm passing out it does nothing for withdrawl
I live in Indiana and have basically medicaid insurance, and was able to get this medication for free, luckily. I have been pretty hesitant to use it, been dealing with a 4 yr fet habit. Seems like fet nowadays lasts sooo much longer in my system & double the time of detox
Have you tried it? If so, were you able to get off your DOC?
@@mel_revealzworks great! If insurance covers it!
I don't have a support system. I'm usually the support for everyone else. . I'm weening down from Syboxen. Im at 4 MG sublingual strip once a day as of now. I know the next few weeks will get a little harder going to 3mg - 0mgs to ween off. I have never heard of Lusamra?
@ Dr ken Starr, Will Lusmare help for Syboxen / Bupanorfen with Draws?
Asking for a friend 😂😅
Yes
Why is it so expensive!?😊
Too bad it cost $2,000 with great insurance for 7 days
I learned that cash price without insurance can be as low at $300. Still way more than clonidine, but might be worth it for some.
why why good old u s a with the cost of drug s 2000 bills to free or 5 dollars from the government@@KenStarrMDWellnessGroup
here in new zealand its free, not 2000 dollars
@@PaulMcqueen-ik7sx Psshtt losers we go into debt for medical care!! but we do it for America!! 😂 Im kidding ya it truly horrible our gov. Don't provide universal healthcare
Hi Dr. Starr, have you changed your opinion based on this previous video from 5 years ago? ua-cam.com/video/AnAmFvJhOPI/v-deo.html
