What was interesting was that at 60 she did not know where she wanted to live, or even really cared.
She wants to get out of retirement so she can do work she loves and make an impact.
Traditional retirement is dead. Why not live “semi retired” from beginning while you continue to invest and be generous along the way?

Given that her husband is 72 and fully retired, his desire to live in Columbus should somewhat be a deciding factor. Most likely his next 5 years are his 5 best remaining years. so does he want that limited time to be in Columbus? Her husband will be close to 80 by the time she finally gets around to retiring. If he is the type who likes to spend his time puttering around the house and is not much into travelling or having fun adventures with his spouse, maybe work would be a good thing for this lady. But if she is thinking that they can always travel and enjoy retirement later on, she needs to realize that later on might never happen. I wouldn't go back to work at 60 if my spouse was retired and we didn't need the money. We would be out going places and doing fun things while we were still reasonably active, healthy and able to enjoy ourselves.
