That weird facial expression from Regine that you've noticed was because she literally did not have a speaking voice when she sang STILL.. She's the only singer I know who can sing and belt high notes even when she didn't have a speaking voice specially during her prime..

But yeah, you can tell that her youthful power belts were around the 90s 2000s. And she acquired a mature, thicker, “motherly” voice in 2014 and beyond.
She's sick when she sing that still, I'm so amazed that she's the only singer I think in pH who could sing and belt even she's sick! So incredible but sadly in silver concert,her voice gave up, but still a legend!
