she´s so comfortable on the couch ... such a sweet girl. I´ve seen a lot videos of budgies together with Cockatiels outside of the cage. Do you want to try that out? I also would not open the window, even just a little bit. She could fly there and hurt herself.
Yes that is my plan to have parakeets and Mellow interact outside their cages but right now the parakeets aren't that behaved..you might be right about the window..it does have a screen so that helps a bit
