Love the advice and realism of your relationship. I’m in a 10 yr relationship, we had a pivotal breakup that lasted 4 mo after dating for 4 years. 6 years after that we are happy we made it work. Congrats on the house! Can’t wait to see more of it and your wedding video!

Tw: i was sexually assaulted by my fiance. We’re getting married next year. So i really understand what you mean by wanting to be a feminist and moving on, but also wanting to stay with your person. I always thought I’d leave if someone did that to me, but here i am. It is hard to believe that someone you really care about so deeply could hurt you so carelessly and easily. I think for me i just made peace with what happened to me and didn’t want it to get in the way of me moving forward with my life. Just taking things day by day . Thank you for sharing
