Most companies include led strips in their packs, but i think im going to buy this anyway. These can be controlled by the razer chroma software right? (i mean the rgb)
Hey quick question. I have a Corsair aio I was wondering if I could take the Corsair fans off the aio and put these on. Since they clip together would they not line up with the screw holes? Would the screws that you mount the fans onto the radiator not fit?
I'm having a problem were im unable to control them. it doesn't matter if im using the lian li app or through the bios. the lights turn on with the rainbow effect but I can not change the color and also I cannot change the rpm of the funs.
Hey! Did you get any response on this, or did you get them working? I’m having the exact same problem. The fans are working, but just the RGB on the fans not working! Sucks as I’ve literally tried everything to get them to work, and followed every tutorial down to a Tee.
@@AshKenyon I did get it working if the fan speed is working the hub is functional so check all your rgb connections the hub ones can be very fidly, good luck
I had the same setup as the video but controller pwn goes to sysfan1 but on an aorus b550i and non of my fan spins, even in bios sysfan1 did not detect a fan or controller at all.
Can these be controlled with Asus armoury crate to aka Asus aura ? thanks if so please make them avaible widely asap my current fans where total garbage and are slowly failing 1 by 1
Both of my starter pack fans the contriller fried all six -_-. Lian-li did ship me a new controller without any luck fans are toast. Still waiting on that response from them (that the bew module didnt work)
So, do I need a 3x pack so that I can get the controller and then I can get single ones, chain them up and hook them into that same controller and that’d be ok?
Stephen does your motherboard allow you to connect two controllers. What mother board are you using. i am currently in the process of my build and i just got 9 of these fans and 2 controllers and now on the hunt for a good motherboard. First build so i pretty green. any help would be greatly appreciated.
@@spidermancj1 you can connect 2 controllers to almost any MoBo as long as you have free USB 2.0 headers for each one. since modern cases don't have front panel 2.0 now you should be all set as there are usually 2. if you are using an AIO liquid cooler it will take one of them and in that case you can split the remaining header with a common USB2.0 splitter. I am using an Asus Strix X570-E but what ever you choose should be fine. also make sure it has enough free fan headers which most mid range and above boards have plenty. I actually have 12 fans now with the Galahad 360 in Push Pull connected to the one controller just used more splitters.
@@spidermancj1 Also you can run up to 12 with one controller. You don't need more than one for 9 fans. I just like to have a backup since it's a proprietary part.
@@spidermancj1 YW, any Time!!! If you ever consider selling one of your spare controllers and if you are in the US please let me know. I would happily purchase one via PayPal. Thanks
This is not a good tutorial. What is the USB or sata connection for? How do I make it work with the software? Will it work with the software if it is plugged into the motherboard header for RGB? And can I get a nice Motherboard power cable that is RGB that will work with this software?
@@imjetzue Oh, ok thanks! Now i'm kinda worried that my USB Ports don't work, u know any way of knowing if they do without having to plug anything in? Thanks for the response as well!
Why all that marketing if you can’t put these fans on shelves? Such a waste of time. I also had to go with Corsair for my New build instead of waiting.
Release an application compatible with GNU/Linux and i will buy 20. And don't tell me it's not possible, there are people on Github who manage to create such application for free. You are millionaire company so use that money for Christ's sake...
Guys you need to release 140mm fans -,I’d love to buy these but I need 140mm!
You can buy it on amazon 140mm in white and black
Why no video shows how the mounting is done?
This was good but completely skipped how to wire the rear fan - is it just its own separate cable connected to the controller?
Where can i get the screws for the fans
My 3 pack are do Saturday. Can't wait!
My bios is not detecting the RPM of these fans. They show as 0 RPM but the fans are running and set to PWM in the bios. What may be the issue here?
Looks nice. Now make it available for everyone to use on their new builds.
Are they all intake fans? Is that the right orientation for those fans?
Can I use these without ever installing the L-connect software? So very tired of EVERY piece of RGB needing it's own bloatware.

I’d love to use this video to install my own fans, but they’re all still out of stock. Any ideas when we can expect to see restocks?

What happens when you connect them without a fan controller? What is the led pattern
