Yeah... we STILL keeping my cousin in close CLOSE reach, and he lost his daughter in a head on DUI crash 2 YEARS AGO! (she was a 21 yr old passenger in the SOBER car) He communicates very clearly that he's STILL NOT RIGHT, and he sees a professional. We love him so much
I remember for my grandmother’s funeral, me my mother my aunts sat on the front row dressed in red (as requested by my grandmother) and had the worst case of the giggles, probably out of nerves. The body doesn’t know what else to do, but EVERYTHING was funny! At one point my aunt says “stop or they will think we off’d her for the insurance money!” My thoughts and prayers go to Tony and his family.

The pain of others is usually what gets to me. When my dad died back in 2008, I was hurting but trying to hold it together for my family. Closest I got was my grandmother...she was walking to take her seat up front at his service, and for the first and only time in my life, I saw her break down. She looked really hard at the casket and just lost it. That is when the loss really resonated...it wasn't just me truly grieving. I was watching the service and yeah, Tony was joking as he does...likely to parry those feelings of grief away for everyone else's benefit. Until he couldn't anymore. And that brought tears to my eyes. Because the only thing I'm afraid of, is losing my only son. This life can have me, but I can't lose my son.

Yeah, through HIS difficult time, Tony taught me how to accept ppl's love and support for you, graciously. It's understandable when you are so caught up in your grief and/ or just close yourself off to ppl, but ppl do want to show up for you during loss, even when they do not know what to say. It's beautiful to see him, so kind and open, even though this rocked him and his whole family. Much love to Cerain. Tony said Cerain was so proud of him and Tony loves his sons. So, it is heartbreaking still, but I appreciate Tony.
