Best vids are with just you two . No macho gobshites . No silly giggling . Just pure respectful exploration . The Dynamic Duo at their best . Thanks for sharing 👍😊
Great explore Alec! Despite the damage to the exterior, the condition of the house was really well preserved. I remember a lot of those things when they were new. Rare to see a non vandalised phone box these days, used more as WCs in our area. I can't remember the last time that I saw an actual phone in one. Love the stills that you take, they really capture the ambience - you could write a book one day using those. Another beautiful house, thanks both.
Very nice exploration. Surrounding nature seems to me attractive in a subtle and very powerfull way. The large windows ( 5:309:52 ) are nice with their elegant simplicity.
If this house got restored to its former glory ,it would be a great place to get away from it all. What a peaceful location . That would be living the dream. Thanks for this explore
Thanks Alec for another pleasant explore. Nice to see your lass with you. I liked the walk including the ‘phone box, and was wishing I was there, but especially enjoyed it from my chair as soon as you mentioned the midges! Good that there wasn’t a lot of fetid rubbish and dodgy floors inside as I’m sure the midges were enough of a hassle.
This one looks like it’s a solid little house. It’s very bright & cheerful. It may need a lot of repairs /restoration, but its scale makes it seem more doable than other larger houses or estates.
Love the scenery!!! Loved the phone booth!!! Haven’t seen one of those in ages!!! I love how you communicate with your partner! You could even do it more👍 Due to me being from the US, it is a bit hard for me to understand you due to your accent…or my accent, depending on how you look at it😂🤣 To me it looks like a single guy lived here, as it was very basic, no frills & looked like engine parts in the living room…a guy thing!😳 Maybe you could even talk a bit more to tell us what we’re looking at! Loved how you joked around with your partner!!!👍 Thank you Alec, for sharing this wonderful adventure with us! I loved it ❤️
Your bang on Alec that was gas lights. When I was a wee boy my gran had them in here house I'm now 55 year old. I always remember being sick every time wee went to her house in West Kilbride. It was probably fumes off her lights. Takes me back. Fantastic content 👌. Thanks guys.
Yes that looks like an old gas light to me too. Still come across a few old fittings in houses in Devon where I live. The hardware store still used to stock a few mantles for them when I first came to live here. My Nan used to have a gas fridge.
A lot of “old school” items there. I wouldn’t know where to begin if I had to use that stove, lol. Great explore and great eye on the stills 👌. Thank you to both of you 😊
Hello Alec!! I really can´t believe it!! this video is so new!! from yesterday... you don´t stop exploring, I love that!! I really want to visit Scotland, it´s wonderful...greetings from Buenos Aires!!😘
I reckon that rough looking patch of ground on the right, just before you come to the house, where all the docks are growing, was where the inhabitants once grew vegetables. That was where they used that rotavator.
We used to have an old phone exactly like that towards the end of the 1980s but, despite our protests, BT insisted on changing it to a press button one, which was very annoying because a bird in the garden learnt to mimic the electronic ringing/trilling type sound that came from it extremely effectively. The sound of those old dial telephones really had something about it. The old dialling tone was rich & reassuring & the ring sounded a bit exciting & energising.
Loved it Al.thank you .and of course the shots ! Just a bloody privilege .!. Glad I didn't watch it at launderette and saved it for bedtime Something about ur explores and ur spiritual presence allows the viewer to go on their own explore tuning in and bounce of ur energy.. U give us time to be still but in the moment I always chuckle at ur humour And insync . great stuff Al . thank you.
Nice wee explore Alec. Lovely house, no vandalism maybe a window or two. It could be made habitable and comfy. Love the Victorian fireplaces. Is it cheeky to ask for another mountain climb ?😉 Thanks and stay safe xx
Ah, the beautiful Thistle! This house was clean. I can't remember the last time I saw a rotary phone, much less a wall hanging rotary phone! Wow 😳 It really took me back as well. You're dating yourself. 😉💜🌿 Btw...none of my business... you two make a good team.
WHOOO THROWBACKS , THAT TELEPHONE BOX AND ROTARY PHONE WERE COOL AND THAT WOOD BURNING STOVE AND GAS LAMPS CLASSICS , LOLOLOLOL THAT WAS A ROTO TILLER FOR BREAKING UP THE SOIL AND LOOKS LIKE A FARM TRACTOR ENGINE TOO THIS PLACE IS A TIME CAPSULE SHAME IT'S LEFT TO FALL APART BUT GOLDEN GEMS BROTHER 👌 INDEED 👌

Just seen 15 minutes long but can hear you keep saying Gas .so best keep it short and sweet Love you mate good to see your loyal friend I like her she's a good girl with a clean heart
I wonder if the lights & cooker had mains gas or if the house would run on cylinders? Someone must have lived there till fairly recently going by the look of the internal decorations. Or maybe it has just been built very strongly & that is why it does not look too bad? It surely cannot have been empty since the 1980s, at least not without the roof being fairly regularly maintained minimum.
Alec u need to say where about u are. Coz after this one and the cottage full of stuff I'm looking at them thinking oh aye gee me a bit of that. I'd love to find out who owns them and buy and restore them.
Not in too bad of shape. Who owns these houses? I want to explore Scotland one day. All my ancestors were Scottish. My Grandmother on my mother's side was the first to be born in America. Ramsay/Scott /Ferguson Clans. Love your channel.
Hey Alec. Good to see you and your girlfriend. Nice little cottage. Odd place for a phone. Weird. I had those type phones too. Beautiful scenery. Mind your head when you are climbing. Woul dnt want you to bonk you head Haha! Stay safe. What's a midge?
