You looked so chuffed with the new delivery, you were like a child in a toy store, good to see you definitely still love your spiders after many years! Every morning you will be throwing back the duvet and leaping out of the bed, to check to see her burrow, the excitement doesn’t end there feeding will make you grin from ear to ear! I really love the Oreo bum trapdoor, not sure why but they fascinate me! ❤
Personally, I like the breeding videos best. The little fella, 1/4 the size of his misses, against the odds, gets in, does the job, gets out and does a victory lap. That is entertainment. A bit like a night in Hull!
@ASC. no I have not but have heard its a good night out, my partner has been a few times n says it's a right laugh. A night out isn't my thing though if I have money spare it goes on t's 🤣🤣🤣
Hey guys! I’m sure your views tell you but you can probably put up a poll on what the favorite videos are. 😊I like feeding, rehousing, unboxing, breeding, egg sac…😂all of them! ❤
One of the absolute sweetest baboons. I rarely see my female, but when she does decide to pop up for a snack-- wow! Always a treat. Lovely little spider ❤
Another amazing and informative session thank you Dave. I've just found some old videos from Guy Tansley marvellous footage but no commentary and am so glad to have learned from you what is going on so as to understand even more. You are a brilliant teacher.
Hello Dave and Camera Lady. What a treat to see her pretty blue feet! Congratulations on finally getting your mature female. These babies are going to be spectacular, I am sure. Excellent job focusing on the important part Camera Lady.🤣 I hope you got a cup of tea and a biscuit as a tip today. How lovely to get a little bonus with your spiders. Anyway, love you guys and your videos. Camera Lady, you are sending me to sleep with a smile on my face.😊. Thank you for that. Take care of each other and stay safe. Good Night 🌖🥱😴❤♥️🖤
Dave you looked like a kid at Christmas talking about her making that trapdoor 😆 makes me smile to see your passion for these creatures, and what a pretty girl! Glad that her and the little male arrived safe, even after moulting out in transit, typical man picks his time 😂 Great upload as always, Dave, Camera Lady and good luck with your project and her trap door 🤞 she makes it soon.
I can't wait to see her trapdoor as well. I'm from Wisconsin, USA, but I used to live in Texas. There were little tarantulas that built trapdoors. They would come out during the evening to feed. Cute lil things.
What a sweet couple of "dwarves" You acquired! ❤ The carapace of the female is very beautiful. Can't wait to see a trapdoor in action! 😍 Thanks for sharing.
Got a sling I. mira as a freebie at the Barnsley show last weekend, thanks for the video Dave! Not seen much about these online so it's nice to have a top quality video like this about their needs :)
wow that is a cute girl gray and blue is a really nice combo the markings are as specially beautifull like white lines a pale slated gray plus all that blue...and camera lady rocks ti hi glad to see her before hiding away..thanks for the great vid
Cool looking spiders Dave , I like how you left the male alone on the tissue, very smart not to mess with him after a molt ! As always a very entertaining video from my favorite tarantula UA-cam channel !
What fun! I hope this works out beautifully for you with that lovely female. I'm looking forward to the next videos 😃🕷🕸 (Did I detect a fondness for biscuits there, dear CL? Nice pan with the camera, dear!). 😁💕💕
Funny enough, I'm about to get five tarantulas I was debating between this and the Harpactira pulchripes as my first old world. Ones far easier to care for but this one is just so unique.
Such lovely blue stunning spider 💙🦶🕷 ( the spider itself is gorgeous too )! Thank you dear Dave and Sweet Camera Lady for yet an interesting video!👋👩🦳👍❤🥰🤗
Hi Dave and Camera Lady 💕💙🕷️ hope you’re both well and having an amazing day. Yeah, love a good unboxing and rehouse video Dave 😊😊 That adult female has got to be the prettiest trapdoor spiders I’ve ever seen, her carapace is just stunning 😍 😊😊 The wee male is dinky, but perfectly formed 😂 Great job Camera Lady, on the closeups and calling dibs on the biscuits 🍪 If I was to pick a favourite type of video I’d quite happily watch all day long would be…egg sac pulling, information about husbandry, unboxing, rehousing, room tours 🤔 hmm maybe ALL of them 😂😂 Be great to get a chance to see them again! Take care both, have a fantastic weekend too 💙💕🕷️😘xxx
Hey Dave... Funny enough I do have one of these too. I don't know the sex of it, but it did create a trapdoor. I just love watching the roach walk past the trapdoor then disappear. Cool tarantula. Love the packaging that Adz used for your unboxing. Cool video Dave.
Wow ! I'm relieved to see that the male molted out ok while in transit. I often hear of cases where spiders are sent while in premolt and it can cause issues in such a tight spot, some not making it at times. They are indeed stunners. Hopefully, you'll get the opportunity to witness the trapdoor's creation. Stay safe and thanks for sharing :)
STUNNING spider, highly underrated! The metallic gold sheen on this species is spectacular! I love their feeding response! Mine also has made a “tube”, rather than a proper trap door.
Beautiful spider yet in close ups my mind wandered and I was wondering what kind of tree gave off black needles… All about the OCD, this viewer appreciates what we have in common and how you keep things cleaned/cleared off. Hope you gave Camera Lady at least half your biscuit (I’d call it cookie). Well done n thanks for all the information n hard work you two put into your hobby as well as inviting us along on your journeys.
@10:10 yes! 1000 times yes! I have received slings in soaking wet paper towels! They’re not going to dehydrate in the 1-3, or even 5-7 days of transit!
Dave excellent video again , but I do believe it’s time to buy camera lady some new equipment, she does make you look good you know lol . Great job and I wish I could get slings from you .
Absolutely brilliant Dave, and what a stunning species of spider 🕷 Dave, really looking forward to seeing that trapdoor, Personally i think dwarf species are fantastic, i have a pigmy fireleg myself, anyway Dave another superb job by yourself and camera 📷 lady Dave.
Hi Dave She is very pretty with those blue legs. I will be excited to see her trap door to. What a suprise that the male molted during his trip to you. I hope that the pairing goes well. Would love to see some babies. Excellent views camera lady.❤🕷🕸Cindy

Beautiful T's. I like seeing their feet peeking out from the trap door. I've had a few of these, and I have found that deeper substrate will encourage trapdoor building. I will pack the sub down some and it seems they like that too. Good luck with the pairing.
My new favourite spider UA-camr these past few weeks Dave 👍🏻 so educational and love how calm you are. Hoping to come across you at an invert show this year 😁
Love these wee Ts I had 2 but one passed but they both made a Trapdoor with sub and moss attached very interesting to watch them pull their prey through the Trapdoor the one I have left is still a small juvie they dont get very big I think they get to about 4 inches but it still stays just below the trapdoor I also found they like the standard sized Brown Crickets ..
amazing looking spider PROFF. another fine project and hopefully a success. great information on this spider and help to the hobby. i have a sling on the go and it disappeared down a burrow with lots of webbing. CAMERA LADY some great footage and closeups .. take care guys and many thanks

I think the reason yours aren’t making a trap door is bc you’re setting them up terrestrially.
