Not only interior but also exterior-wise I like this generation much better than the newest one. I also think this one is so much classier and elegant whereas the new model is shallowly posh for cheap showoff.

Hey buddy! Totally honest with you it's all up to you :) just make sure to keep an eye on the water pump and thermostat issue.. see if it's been replaced! Saves the headache later on down the line! Feel free to subscribe too if you want more videos like these ❤

@@secta7728 see if they have any receipts for parts replaced. Car that has done that mileage you would have expected it may have need some repairs/new parts or maintenance. If not could be due when you buy it!
Hi maybe a strange question but I've never drove a automatic before I'm getting a 2014 model same shape as this, but I'm wondering about hill starts obviously you put ya foot on the break to stop is it just a case of taking ya foot of the break and putting the gas on to set off on a steep hill?? And do ya have to be quick on the gas after taking ya foot of the break? Another strange question maybey but I'm dumb wen it comes to semi autos could you stall it if you didn't put the foot on the gas quick enough after setting off?? Thanks for any info 🤦♂️😂
Hey buddy! Nah bro no question is ever a dumb question :) and yeah auto when you engage it to drive it will engage and stay in drive , it kinda has the feature when you go up hill but you don’t realise…. There’s no stalling on auto box unless there a mechanical issue 😂 these dsg boxes is rare
Thanks for that info I've been propper wary of getting one but I'm just in the middle of getting one should be in a few days, someone said toe a while ago that they thought ya could still stall one which I thought was strange, so you mention about mapping the dsg box on it does that gain any extra bhp or is it just for better/ or more aggressive gear changes il probably get a stage one map on it as soon as I get it but not sure wat other mods il end up getting, what was the mileage on this s3 that you've gt there? Would it be stupid to go for one with 70 odd thousand miles, that has full audi service history? There still holding the price well these it's around 16 bags the one I've been looking at suppose to be getting it by Friday but I am still looking in the mean time for one with maybey a few less miles, it looks immaculate the one I've been looking at tho thanks for the reply too subbed 👍

I mean 70k miles is a fair amount especially for that money I’m not gonna lie haha but it depends what you want out of it you into more the performance and having fun or more the luxury and spec? The dsg makes the gear changes sharper to keep up with power the engine is producing if you map it :)
@@Sa3Tv I'm just wanting somat with abit of power I was guna go for a a45 buy my budget would only stretch to 2014/15 and a no a couple of ppl yhat have had major issues with the auto gear box's in them so it don't of put me of so I decided to go for the s3 as I'm use to audi well apart from the site part, wat dort of price is it to do that with the dsg then?? And can ya just get it done at any where that tunes cars
I mean I’ll be honest I don’t usually know for prices for the S3 joe as the market is always going up and down… I’d aim for mileage around 40k is a safe number you tend not to have issues around that number… check out my common issue video I made on it that’s what u need to look out for on them :) and there are loads of tuners for S3 ✌️ loads in London I’d recommend or down south which is where I usually go
Looking to get a 2014 model from Audi, any big difference between the pre facelift and the facelift ?
Minimal difference :) I'd defo suggest pre face lift.. just looks nicer :) that's my opinion
I have been looking for a S3 lo g time. Every day I browse in net. So far I have been told by people not to buy 15 or 16 reg. Telling me to buy face-lift version which is reg 17 onwards. Have you driven lately any s3 after 16 reg ? If you have then what is your verdict in general. I am looking forward to have your valuable thoughts.
Hey bud I’m not sure where you getting information on about the 15 16 plate , there is no difference except the look of being a PFL and FL lol the gearbox and engine are the same. They all drive the same and handle the same. Absolutely awesome car to own for sure! Can never get bored it

Whats your opinion on getting a 2014 s3 with higher mileage (110k km) What should I look out for?
I mean water pump thermostat been replaced as it’s a common issue! Other than just make sure it’s had it’s servicing done on time , dsg oil changed etc just the basics as those engines are very reliable….

Really like the S3 power and the 4 wheel drive, but I’m very surprised about how the interior looks especially in an Audi. Personally think the interior in my 2016 Clio RS looks better 😳 looking to buy an S3 👍 nice video mate
As an overall Car.. S3 is just on a different category of hothatch but therr are better interiors not gonna lie.. looking back now kinda wishes i had the super sport seats haha and to be fair... the Clio RS interior is very nice!
You might think it looks better but I can garuntee it dosent feel better (I've had both)
Debating financing one im 19 just bored of my first car but 5.5k for insurance 😫 was looking at one with around 50k miles 2016 or so but finance on them isn't too bad is just so tempting to have a car like that to enjoy

Very helpful, been looking at a1 black edition 185bhp, and the s3’s. I don’t have massive budget though, approx £10k do you think it’s worth looking at these for that figure, most obv have over 100k miles on the s3’s. 👍🏻
Thank you buddy! And I'll be honest, finding a s3 at 10k will be hard unless high mileage. I mean the engines are great don't get me wrong but it just means big bills at that miles...
Just be warry of the valve issues these engines have.. but the usually break at around 150k km...if your lucky when the valve breaks you will only have to replace the head.. but if it damages the clynder or the piston.. well you will need a new engine then.. i just bought one with this issue and all mechanics i talked to said the same.. it is bound to happen...

They’re not that common on these! From my experience
If you are going to buy one of these, I would make sure you get up to 66 or 17 plate and check that the petrol particulate filter is defo not fitted. I’ve got a 66 plate in Vegas Yellow and I love it. But those horrible petrol filters killed the exhaust sound.
I mean any 8V is perfectly fine , certain things to look out for but they are all pretty well built
Good shit mate, looking at a 2015 model with 30,000km (sat unused for over a year Inna basement, covered in dust so would need new tyres, all seals and belts/rubbers checked and a service, but could get it for a steal of a price so strongly considering it. thanks mate

I think I used to defiantly do over 35mpg
32 to 38 for me unless I use boost. 40+ should be doable on a long back road

Is it not also the same engine in the TTS?
If it’s a mk3 TTS then it will have the same engine from the S3 and golf R yeah the mqb ✌🏼

The 8v S3 dash looks old when you compare with the 8Y, that stupid pop up infotainment screen is just hideous, and those headlights just look boring, I suppose if you can’t afford the 8Y you’re bound to prefer the 8V 😜
I mean the 8Y has more plastic than the 8v... and was probably lucky to even get real exhaust tips 😂
