To be a hashira, you need to either defeat 50 regular demons or kill one of the 12 demon moons ALONE. Tanjiro did not defeat Rui, Tomioka did. Tanjiro did not defeat upper 6 alone, he did it with Tengen, Inosuke, and Zenitsu. Tanjiro also did not defeat upper 4 alone. He dealt with his original form while Mitsuri held off his ultimate form (Zohakuten).

He will finish the whole thing , don't worry right now if the battle gets intense he can even be ranked higher than hashira 😂😂
Especially when he became a god against daki his fast moves and flashy slashes that can't regenerate 🔥🔥
