The Drop - Dunna Runna | Virtual Readipop Festival 2020

With live music off the table for Summer 2020, Readipop decided to bring it's award winning festival straight to people's homes via live-stream.
Featuring the likes of Mercury Music Prize winner Badly Drawn Boy, Beardyman, Jay-Z sampled soul powerhouse Hannah Williams and The Affirmations, Nigel Clark, frontman of indie favourites Dodgy, eighties reggae chart topper Musical Youth, 6Music championed newcomer Freya Beer and T.S. Elliot prize winning poet Roger Robinson, the Festival aims to promote the best of Reading culture and the work of Readipop, which has continued to support and engage Reading's community and young people virtually during lockdown.
Readipop Festival 2020 also showcased some of Reading's finest talents, products of Readipop's artist development programme, its community bands and other charity work. And it wasn't just music - Virtual Readipop Festival 2020 featured arts and crafts with Jelly, cooking with The Bowler, Readipop's famous WOMAD workshop and much much more.
