Join me on an exciting adventure in Costa Rica next year! Details here: trovatrip.com/trip/central-america/costa-rica/costa-rica-with-chad-zuber-apr-2024
I’m going to try to save some money to do this trip! I’ve been watching ur stuff chad for the last year at least. It would be amazing to learn some stuff from you!!
How people do things differently. Growing up in Mozambique, I learned to cut a path through cattails/ grass in swamps by chopping them from right to left and left to right, knocking them to interlocking/crisscrossed in front of you where you have to walk, building up a path. Your guides are pushing the grass and cattails away, wasting a good solid floor.
Chad that mushroom you were talking about fire tinder is a Reishi mushroom. Ganoderma spp. fantastic for infections, immune system stimulant, great for using as an antihistamine especially for seasonal allergies. A lot more as well!!
Not that it was ever bad, but the audio production in these more recent videos have reached a whole new level. I'm not sure if it's the ambience of the environment, or sound design added in, but the subtle panning and smooth level changes really creates an immersive viewing experience. As always, amazing video and such an exciting environment to explore!
Y'all ballsy Brothers! I used to be like that when I was younger but I been bit too many times in the process for being that adventurous! Skunks, mosquitos, poisonous plants and poisonous spiders love me! Im 55 now and keep my arse at home! God bless all!
@@ChadZuberAdventures How do you deal? I've had to go to the hospital for recluse bites 3 times. Not pleasant. 3 months ago I broke out with a nasty rash on my trunk and upper arms and legs. They nailed it to poison hemlock. Thats what I get for snatching wild garlic about that time in a remote area. I had shorts and flip flops on. Im still scarred from it! I got sprayed by a skunk in my own damned yard last week! I thought it was a cat! It sprayed my legs from under my steps! That oil burns and the stink is indescribable when its on your ass! I did the only thing I was told.. I put tomato juice and milk in the tub. THAT DID NOT WORK! I still stunk and my skin burning! I finally took a bath with constant hot .. very hot running water from spigot.. no plug in tub! I used ACV and Epsom salts! It finally worked! You got to get that oil off! If that didnt work.. I was about to call 911! That shit hurts and stinks beyond anything! God bless all!God bless all
That flotation thing you made for Alex was awesome! He really was able to speed along with everyone else after using that floaty. What a champion you are Chad, helping out a fellow adventurer with some random 300 IQ "device".
I live in Vietnam. I have watched a lot of your videos. I have passion for making survival videos like yours. hope one day you come to my country and experience survival with me. thanks for your videos❤❤❤
Thanks for the video, it was very interesting to watch. I hate slogging through swamp land, especially in the heat. To me that is the toughest terrain, on par with deep snow and bitter cold and wind. Thanks for showing everyone that has never experienced the struggle.
Awesome video and a gruelling journey. I still remember when leeches were sold in pharmacies. They were 2-4 inches long and I was always interested in looking at them.
I really like your guides, they appeared (?) patient with the showing of the local flora, fauna and useful knowledge you all have. Wonderful adventures Chad, thank you 😊
Olha ele ,no México 🇲🇽. 🎉 depois de macarrão e suco de laranja. A natureza é incrível. Menino não é aguniante andar nessas águas sem saber onde estão pisando??? Chaaaad abraço e foi um bom videoooo.
If anyone is turned off at the start by the shaky cam or the fact that Chad is not in his primitive persona, I recommend watching the video anyway. It's actually a real adventure packed with information and cool moments.
Hey..love from india...i had also similar experience of swamp..so i can feel the humidity and difficulty you all have been faced in this..love watching your videos❤
For the next hut video you should devise some Cave based animal traps and when you get something soak it in cactus fruit and smoke it into jerky, the primitive sultans FEAST for the cave Slave Chad
OH NO! I just read your post! I hope things pick up for you!! You and John Plant are my favorite Primitive guys on UA-cam! You know, a lot of the smaller survivalist channels are associated with survival schools. Have you thought about getting a job with one of them, or selling your knowledge as a tutor? I would love to be able to walk out in the wilderness anywhere in the world, and be able to thrive. However, at my skill level, that would be exceedingly foolish.
Leeches for medical treatment. "used to increase circulation, improve blood flow and speed healing." "Modern leech therapy is used in areas such as microsurgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, cardiovascular disease and dermatology."
Cattails have big roots and they can be eaten raw or boiled, they taste better than most wild roots and aren't as bitter, it's one of the biggest edible plant food sources here in Scandinavia.
It pisses me off you aren’t getting the views you should be Chad, you’re my favorite primitive UA-camr and I love you man keep being great 🙏🏼 like fuck bro your content is wayyyy too entertaining
@@ChadZuberAdventures I got your point man and I respect it but damn, some waders like you said would've been nice🤣 I watch all your videos and plan on getting my own land by the end of the year, I'm on your side lol.

25 feet in the air with no climb/safety equipment. Chad is such a badass! Alex "I think so" 😂 the bundle idea was brilliant! Great tips!

no food, but a handful of grilled leeches sounds nutritious.

Hello
37:55 this might seem a little gruesome, but I wonder if you can chemically isolate the anticoagulent in leeches to make blood thinners?
