Literally the moment she put that on I was like "no.... no way.... no....." Like she could have blended that amount of blush on the cheek onto the forehead and the nose.
i love the makeup by mario blush sticks bc they're so pigmented and last all day but you have to use wayyyyy less, like just 3-4 dots across the cheek. also not a fan of the brush at the bottom, but a big fluffy blush brush will blend it out perfectly!

I’m not a blush person, but I love these blushes. I do think a light hand is key. I thought I would just ignore the brush, but I ended up loving it. I also love the contour stick. They are my must haves if I’m traveling or in the go. I would give it another try, just gently. 🥰

I’m commenting for my 3year old daughter. When you applied the blush stick she was playing dolls in the corner of the living room, looked up at the screen and said “Oh my mama! What is that lady doing?” I couldn’t stop laughing 😂

Definitely try the blush stick again! I love mine! I find that it blends out best using a damp beauty blender rather than the brush.
Apply the blush on your hand and dip your blush in it, not directly to your face, also for the eyeshadow stick apply it on your finger or hand first then on your eye
Do more tiktok hacks! I don't have tiktok but I'm always recommended them on UA-cam. I was laughing so hard when you put the blush and knew it was good to be a disaster lol but I'm going to look at that bronzer because it looked flawless. Beautiful as always!

I’ve always done the lighter metallic in my lower inner rim because I can never find the cream colored drugstore eyeliner to put there lol, but I like it because it’s more subtle!
that blush was very pretty!! i would definitely try that out with less product tho lol as soon as i saw how bright the first stripe was i figured that'd be a pain to blend

White or light liner, is supposed to open your eyes. It's actually a pretty good hack. It definitely makes a difference on my eyes 💜💜
I love the Mario blush sticks and bronzers. He says to use more of a stippling motion with the brush it comes with. Very little goes a long way. I do prefer to blend it with a damp sponge.
OMG! That blush!! You managed to go from bronze-y glow to clown car to “sunburned” in a matter of minutes. I was laughing so hard I had tears. I love that you embrace your fails so well.
I remember when I was trying to learn how to use makeup, especially blush, when I was in high school MANY years ago. I was the queen of the “pink stripe”. I was so bad at it, I just gave up, except for using mascara. I didn’t actually get it until a Clinique consultant sat with me and showed me how to match myself and use color to complement my complexion. I was 21 and about 18 months from my college graduation.
I love the Mario blush and bronzer sticks. I pick up the product with a brush instead of applying it directly on my face.
the brush on the blush stick is a little too dense for me as well, i recommend using a brush to pick up the product from then stick then apply to your face, that way you don’t have to blend out any harsh lines (: love your videos!🥰

I love Glowish🙈 like love love love it. I use it as a creamy glow product on my cheeks more than a foundation but that and their bronzer is my favourite new launch of 2021

Try applying the KVD Dazzle sticks with your finger. I bought one awhile ago (last year maybe??) and fell in LOVE with them, so I went out and got them ALL!! I use UD primer potion and just apply the dazzle sticks with my finger. BEEYOOOOUTEEEFUULLL!!
The kvd sticks, I think you should apply them differently...not directly from the stick. Way to much product at once which makes me think it will crease so if you apply differently you still get the exact same effect but with less so no creasing

The whole point of a blush stick is that it’s easy to apply on the go without needing a brush or anything. Or at least, it used to be. If you can’t apply it like that they might as well have just put it in a regular cream blush pan. So to me (as a trained make-up artist), if you can’t use a blush stick directly on your face, it doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do.
Have you tried Isle of Paradise self tanning water products? They are my FAVE!

I love using the KVD eye sticks.
In the future, you might want to put a bit of the blush on your palm first, then use a sponge or brush to apply it. Directly on the face was a bold choice.

This works but I kind of hate it when you have to do that with a product like that. I feel like blush/bronzer sticks are made for ease of use, and/or for being good to take with you on the go. When I’m outside I don’t want to have to walk around with a pink greasy hand just to touch up my blush!

I’d suggest applying the metallic eyeliner along bottom lashes and do a black eyeliner tight line around the lid, reverse eyeliner

The brush on the blush is supposed to be for stippling, not buffing/swiping, so you might try that. That being said, only see others use it, not used it myself.

If the Foundation is that Dark even when you have fake tan on, I give up already.. I am so tired of brands naming colors “fair light” when it’s NOT… why do I have to buy a litterally WHITE Foundation lightener to be able to get a shade that matches..🙄
I feel this! People think I’m crazy when I tell them the lightest shade of 90% of foundations is too dark for me.

Idk what Huda was thinking when she made those shades! I'm normally in between fair and light and the fair/light is WAY too dark on me! It's more like a medium light! The shade light is sooooo dark too it's more like a medium shade! I was so mad I wasted money on them because it's TOO dark! I don't tan or anything so it'll never work! I know fair will probably be too dark too so I give up! I absolutely love glowy products too so I would have loved it if it wasn't so damn dark! Sheer and glowy is what I love so I'm hoping she fixes the shades!

The Mario Blush sticks are amazing!!! Apply it on the back of ur hand and then go in with a sponge to pick it up and Pat it on the cheeks! Not sure who goes in with that much blush straight away? Esp with such a bold color. That was a disaster waiting to happen!

The LA colors gelly glam liquid eyeshadows( very underrated!), Almay velvet foils, and Jcat beauty Pris-metal eye mousse’s are very similar to that eyeshadow you tried ( which is now sold out 🥺) you should try them!!
I screamed when the blush application happened. Just watched a video with Mario talking about it and the brush. He says "tap don't rub" so if you use it again make sure to follow that lol

When you plastered on the blush I scared my cats when I yelled Noooooooo! Lol! That highlignter and the eye sticks wow made up for the blush head on collision.
BH Cosmetics has a beautiful silver gel crayon liner that absolutely stays PUT on the waterline, and does an amazing job of giving at least those of us in the uncooked poultry or fish category that luminous, bright eye effect - I imagine the gold shade might do similar for those of you who run warmer. Would recommend (and good for sensitive eyes, too).
Loving tan has been my favorite for a long time. I was at Walmart the other day and they had b.Tan. I got the darkest one. It looked alittle grey on my skin but in the am I washed it off and barely anything came off n the shower and it gave me the most beautiful tan. It also wore off nicely and didn't make my skin look like I had a skin problem like several tanners do. It didn't get on my white sheets at all. Seriously the best I've ever tried.
I wonder if the blush stick was so patchy because of the foundation because I have the coral colored one and I love it. I normally just use my sponge to blend it out and I use about as much as you did and its beautiful
Yeah the patchiness is odd, 9/10 times that’s the result of too little product but I don’t think that’s what happened here 😂

I love the express tan from st. Tropez, so I tried the Ashley Graham one & I accidentally ended up a dalmatian & it didn't leave any color when I washed off the guide color 😔

Koress face and body tanning serum is the best out there Just so you know I had received a small kind of sample and I decided to use it just on my face to see how I liked it and I literally fell in love and purchased the and purchased the large I think 5 or 6 oz. It's not cheap but it is a really great skin care brand to begin with you can't go wrong with their shower gel and there body lotion Or their skin line however I did try their tanning towels or whatever they are called and I hate them, they definitely messed up there. Everything I've tried from KVD including those are amazing

I know I’m late to this video, but the Mario blush stick always seems to pull my foundations off.. no matter what.. I have to CAREFULLY put some on my sponge and buff it onto my face.. the bronzer is better imo and idk how that even happens lol
I think a lot of us used to do that lip hack many eons ago hehe. We used to use lipstick instead of lipliner though. I remember doing it because it was fun and wasy
I apply my concealer the same way, first with my fingers and then blend over it with a damp sponge to absorb any excess. 😊
Also, I don't watch tiktok. This is why. I'd be broke. 😂😂😂 My twelve-year-old daughter is obsessed with it and we have something called 'T time'. She will pick some of the her favorite or funniest videos from tiktok and we will watch them together. ❤ Is it just me or is a lot of tiktok content geared toward a younger audience?
The tiktok algorithm changes and shows you videos based on what you click like on. The videos I see are all 20+ people. Theres a lot of older content on the app.

Question as a clueless 30 year old. Do most people wear makeup every day or most days? It’s literally been months since I used any. It just feels like a lot of effort. Also I’ve never used any fake tan products (plus I’ve never had an actual tan because I hate the heat from the sun on my skin, it hurts) do you think I might look freakishly pale or something? I’m autistic and I don’t like feeling products on my skin.
I was a make-up artist for years and I rarely wear make-up in my day-to-day life! I love make-up but only when I have the time to be creative and experiment with it, I’m just not the type to wear a bit of mascara and some lipgloss every day. You do not have to do anything you don’t want to do, never let anyone tell you otherwise. There’s nothing wrong with being pale either, I am too! 😊
