That cement though 😳 What overly sponsored products should I test next? 🤔⬇️
Can you give us an update on the last round of products? I’d love to know if you think the function of beauty is still worth it!
Canadian products!
The tik tok bandaids

😂 An emu apple is a berry, scientific name Kundera pomifera. They’re edible and pretty high in antioxidants; they’re kinda crunchy and a little spicy. And since the brand is using so many natural berries, I wonder if the color of the product changes depending on the time of year they make it. Probably worth contacting them and asking! They’re Aussies, so they’ll be pretty bluntly upfront about it.
Yup 🌻🦜🐱🏍
Thanks for clarifying! I've never heard of an emu apple, but it sounds cool! 😁
The reason why you were recommended a foundation with a natural-matte finish even though you said you preferred a radiant finish is because Il Makiage only has one foundation formula. No matter what answer you give on the quiz, you will get the same formula. sophdoeslife did a video about this too.
Yeah I wish more people knew that
Yeah I watched her vid too and I still think it’s so funny that it asks for what kind of foundation you want even though they only have one
Haha yeah I said prefer a radiant light- medium coverage, then got a heavy foundation that gives me dry and wrinkled skin where there wasn’t any before. Plus I oxidised Bad
They actually have 2 but they're both matte. You'd think that they'd at least have one matte and one dewy.
One of the few you tubers left that is non problematic & invested in her content❤️
RBK is amazing as well.
And Jaimie French
There’s really only like a handful of problematic beauty youtubers I can think of.
@@ccap3211 right? People always say that and I’m confused because I follow lots of people who aren’t problematic.
Yes! Alexandra Anele and Jaime French are pretty much the only other two I can think of 😅
I love that you actually read the indications from the brand! So many people testing things just wing it and then give bad reviews without even considering the instructions. I love and trust your self-sponsored reviews!
and she makes sure to give reviews based on how well the product works rather than just how she feels about it
Simply nailogical makes an oil that she puts on her nails and cuticles. It helps keep them healthy and strong. I forget the exact ingredients but, it was a video awhile back.
The ingredients are jojoba oil and vitamin e oil to thicken it
I followed her guide and use that combo on my nails! My nails are naturally a little thicker, but I do notice that my nails/cuticles are much healthier looking and (potentially) less prone to breaking than before.
You can just get cuticle oil, it’s not expensive. That’s essentially what’s she’s making. I actually use Healthy Hoof. Yes it’s for horses but it’s AMAZING for your nails.
I forgot about simplynailogical. I used to watch ages ago. Taco...
You can use almond oil, people use jojoba oil but as a aromatherapist jojoba is not actually an oil is is a wax. It can be far too heavy and won’t absorb a lot of the time. Avocado oil is a really good one too! A drop of lavender (pure) will also be very good
Yes! The amount of times I've seen this foundation advertised is straight up madness!
The issue with pore strips is that they don't "pull" anything out of your pores. They might snag some sebum, but whatever catches usually breaks off, leaving your clogged pore still... clogged.
I hate pore strips, they’re honestly just a fad. People think they work because they pull out sebum like you said! Not “white heads” or “pus” like people think hahah
I love my pore strips. There is clearly a lot of sebum, but I've seen a few actual blackheads stuck on there. Personally, it's worked best when I used my oil cleanser and steamed with a warm face cloth beforehand. Definitely used some brands that were just horrible though, so I guess it depends on the person and the brand. Also experienced the "broken off" bits as well previously, which I think is inevitable with these products.
True. They can also stretch out your pores over time...
As a teen, I was fascinated by them. But then I found good skincare and stopped having blackheads
I have eczema patches on my nose so when it gets super flaky and peely i use pore strips carefully to get rid of the peely part
The Star Face stickers are actually incredible for shrinking pimples and healing them quicker but I wouldn’t recommend the strips as they can break your capillaries and make your nose blotchy
I'm glad that she's not afraid to dislike or give her honest opinion on a product.
I'm glad that she's willing to "take one for the team." She's so brave!🤗
I saw another video where a girl (I think it was soph) tried the foundation and on the quiz no matter how she answered for finish /coverage etc it gave her the same result. Like they actually only have 1 formula
Soph does nails
I was hypnotized by your eyelashes. So pretty 😍
Instead of the Sand & Sky mask - which I personally think is over priced and over hyped - there is a very similar, cheaper and much better option available on Amazon, the brand is called Sunprive. Their pink clay mask called "Sun + Shine skin" works wonders on my skin when I use it. I have combo/oily break out prone skin. Seriously I have used 3 full tubs of this stuff since I discovered it (over a year ago). I would say it's a dupe for the sand & sky mask, but honestly it's actually way better 😊
so I have really weak nails, they peel and break a lot, and I found that the Orly Nailtrition nail growth treatment (it's like a nail polish) works really well for protecting my nails.
I relate to you not knowing how to function with the fake nails. I had acrylics put on in January and could not do anything! But after a few days you learn various hacks. I’ve had mine for 4 months now and love love love them 💅🏻
I've worn long acrylics for 20 years. I love them! I get a fill every 2 weeks. My natural nails have aways been weak and peel like crazy.
I would love to see you do a face with elf makeup
I was seriously considering the IlMakiage foundation but watching your video has changed my mind. Your such a breath of fresh air with all your honesty. Too many you tubers just worry about not offending their sponsors and brands.
"We are going to be exploring the world of sponsored products"
LOL for a second there I thought I was watching an Anthony Padilla video!
It doesn’t hurt your nails because they’re weak! Your nails get sore the first few days because they’re not used to having a hard, non bendable press on, on top of them. Don’t worry it’ll go away!
Could that be because the press ons don't conform to the natural nail properly?
@@KittyKraftStudio yeah for sure! But the same soreness will happen with acrylic, gel, etc.. which all do conform to the nail. Your nail just need to get used to this new substance on it
ua-cam.com/video/sKBF_D55xoA/v-deo.html🎉🙏
@@Mataylor17 my nails just don't like stuff on them beside oils, nil polish is uncomfortable being, though I do get fake nails and they're just uncomfortable for a day or two
Thank you for being such a positive light during these crazy times. Always cheers me up watching your videos! 💕
I love Static Nails (they used to do much more fun nails, including crystal encrusted, flower embedded, etc. I miss those). I can keep them on for a full 2 weeks but you definitely have to remember not to use them as tools. I have super thin nails as well, and also suggest you try Ohora nails from Vanity Table. They're LED cured gel strips, so they don't add length but they will give your nails a lot of stability.
Your videos always make my days better. Can't wait to watch!!!
You have the LITERAL BEST eye lashes and eye brows! Every time I watch you it is all I focus on....lol Stunning! Love the nails. ;)
Definitely recommend sorting to get the “short” length ones from Static! They’re my fave 😍 they also have polishes that match their glue on nails too!
Did the quiz- got the foundation & concealer- hated them both, sent them back & they e-mailed me a $50 coupon. I never used it- like I want to order anything else from them. 😂
That's not your money back 😮
@@taylorjade6918 Nope- didn't cost me a dime. Tried for free, returned & they sent me a $50 coupon.
If that coupon is still good and you want to pass if off, I’d love it!
I used the coupon for the cream eyeliner and it was decent for free!
@@jenncyclopedia Sorry- it was sent in an e-mail for me to click on to use on the account I had set up.
With il makiage they will give you the same foundation no matter what you pick for your finish. Idk why they even ask 😂
I wish more people knew this
@@kenzielater1378 it’s not hard to find out though so it’s on the people who buy it to know not the company , companies will try and rip you off always
@@makeupcoalmum589 Maybe we should start telling companies to be honest rather than putting it on people to know if they're honest. It's obvious by the amount of UA-camrs that review this product that it not clear that this is a scam
@@kenzielater1378 if you go off the quiz and look at products you would see only one each they aren’t lying it’s clear as anything on their website just the quiz isn’t. But you don’t just take a quiz and then spent £40 on something without looking at the site first or I wouldn’t anyway lol
Quite a few I’ve seen do like the foundation and my friend does so it’s just down to what you like but for what it is you could get Dior foundation lol
I watch all your videos. I absolutely love your personality and content!
Keep up the amazing work, hun. 🥰
I'm really just here for you love your content! Much love from the mitten!
You are so thorough and cute and honest. Love your videos girl!!!
Hi Rachel, the best thing for cleansing pores is either salicylic acid or clindamyacin. They work the best and there is no pore strip or ripping off of a bandaid involved. Aloe won't cleanse pores or skin, it will just soothe the skin after wearing these straps and ripping them off.
Which product would you recommend? I mostly tend to search for korean brands but would like to know more about clindamycin
@@eclecticminn2265 I'm not sure what country you're in, but in the U.S. clindamycin is prescription only. It's an antibiotic
@@ppiqua3523 yea I thought that was weird
@@SabrinaHawk I think it's weird in the way they casually said it, as if you can just order it online or grab it off the shelf somewhere, but commonly prescribed clindamycin acne treatments would be; clindamycin topical gel, clindamycin pledgets (they're presoaked pads), clindamycin foam, and clindamycin/benzoyl peroxide gel or cream. Brand names Duac Gel or Benzaclin Gel are the most common ones I see at the pharmacy I work at. They are the clindamycin/benzoyl peroxide combos
Yes, clindamycin is by Rx only. Niacinamide is a more accessible ingredient that can maintain pores and regulate oil production.
hey rachel, i was just watching the deodorant part of the video and i just wanted to tell you that in my country a lot of people use this clear stone called Alum as deodorant. I have tried a few other deodorants but nothing has been quite as effective as Alum and ive been using it for years now. definitely look it up if you're looking for a natural alternative
We love you Rachh!!!💜
Rachel 💕 I’m now in college but I’ve been following you since middle school and your videos are so uplifting and make my day. Thanks for being such a positive influence. 🥰
💗💗💗
Amazing video, as usual 😍 about the subject “treating your nails” there’s nothing better than Mavala scientifique, it’s magical
My 5 year old daughter and I really love your channels. It's nice to have a channel to watch the has great and entertaining content and also a great influence on my young daughter. Thank you, from one mother to another 🤗
I always like to trim my press on nails and some of them do really well with it while others don’t so I’d love to hear your experience with trimming these
I used these with a new set every two weeks for 6 months and always trimmed them with no problem. :)
I was thinking the same thing! Can you trim them or will they crack and be ruined.
I’ve been binge watching your videos for the last couple of weeks & Id love to see you try the Ohora nails!
LOVE your personality and wit ✨
xxoo’s 💕
Excited to try static nails now! And thank you for testing I’ll Makiage
The Starface exfoliating toner is so gentle and an amazing product!
Yes!!!!!! I needed this!
I always use my phone flashlight on my pore strips so I can really see what's come out 😂
Rachel I absolutely LOVE your videos. Love looking forward to watching after I put my 8 month old down🥰
Also you should do a video of a bunch of eyeshadow pallets and which ones are the best! Been looking for a new eyeshadow pallet but never know what ones to go with
I want to see the updated nails after you cut them! Also, I am so excited to see you try the foundation!!! I have thought about it so many times..it’s a no for me!
The pink clay mask from sand and sky is amazing. I got a sample in my birchbox a couple of months ago.
I’ve been sooo tempted to try this foundation for a couple years now, you’re not helping with my decision. 🤣🤣🤣 great video!!
Yesssss 👏👏👏👏 I’ve had the same journey and have been now using native for YEARS. Nothing compares. Love native.
Rachh Thank You for putting efforts making these videos while having kids. Great Products II always look forward to these videos.
Gosh the only reason I’ve been watching you for years is because of your gorgeous smile, and it’s so lovely and keeps me wanting to watch your videos and you good product info off course. What keeps ur teeth so white??.
Whatched this vid first time and in love with her personality omg
I love static nails! I’ve been using them since Christmas and occasionally take a break and use a strengthening polish in between.
I've loved native since 2017, so glad to see you use it!!! those are also the deodorants I use, you should also try lavender rose though.
WE NEED PART 3 DECLUTTER! &/or RIDE OR DIE DECLUTTER! 💜
Great to see an honest review of the Il Makiage Foundation!
Makiage foundation in a big No✖🚫
Yeah, I hated that sh$@. I’m 41 and it made me look 60🤦🏻♀️
I loooove static nails. I have a bunch of them! Easy to glue on, looks real nice. No more nail salon for me!
😂 i’ve never seen someone feel like a “baddie” with short nails or who was nervous to put on press-ons but honesty…same ❤️ Love your energy
Love these videos!!!
Also one of you showing us everything you use to clean with and how you keep your home so clean with kids. As soon as I get done cleaning the kids act like tornadoes and ran sack the house.
Looking fabulous as always!! 😁❤
You make me laugh! Thanks for not being afraid of being goofy!
I actually had great results with the Il Makiage foundation. Loves it!!
I started using native almost a year ago. I am obsessed!😍 works wonders and I have tried everything before it
I can’t handle long nails either! I have been obsessed with dashing diva’s nail stickers! So easy to use, look so good, and very affordable!!!
The video just started but: Yes! Sand&Sky! Was wondering about that! ☺
I love the starface stars, they really work for me 😄 use my own skincare then use a star on the breakouts and they're gone in two days with is insane for me x
I’m excited to try the nails!
Oooo hi Rachel before I watch the entire video ❤️☺️
I LOVE static nails!
I love Static nails, they do last for several wears and have so many pretty colors and styles.
Try using nail oil on your natural nails. Mine used to be thin and peel a lot and this helped me out the most
I love the charcoal one! My first time with Native and I really like it. I was afraid of switching since this was my first natural deodorant and read it may take time for my body to adjust but I had no issues at all.
Static nails are my fav! 🙌🏼
You are so beautiful! I want your skin also!! It's so flawless 😍
Hey I think you should try the hard as hooves nail strengthening cream it seriously worked wonders for my weak nails!!
Girl, I'm right there with you with trying different deodorants/antiperspirants. The best one I've found, is the men's, unscented, gel, antiperspirant. I don't knit why it works so well, but it does. I also like the Kopari deodorants as well, for just a deodorant.
Try the foundation w a brush next time, I read in the instructions when I first got mine to not use a beauty sponge. I absolutely LOVE the foundation. It doesn’t oxidize on my skin at all, at least that I noticed. It really is flawless to me. I have the concealer too and it is very natural but works for me if I use it after the foundation.
i used a sponge and it made it super blotchy and i just couldn’t build the foundation on my skin. i then tried again using a brush and had that same issue :(
Hey Rach! A tip to help with transitioning from antiperspirant to deodorant. That aluminum and bacteria clings to clothing. Online you can buy specialty enzyme cleaner. It’s typically used for cloth diapering. Wash your clothes in this and you will notice a HUGE difference
I love Native! I tried out the Eucalyptus one but my favorite is the coconut and vanilla. I have been trying different scents from them but I have noticed because I have extremely sensitive skin that some scents like the eucalyptus won't work for me. I'll sweat more and get more irritated skin. So definitely trial and error but definitely in love with this company and still a diehard coconut and vanilla fan!!
I recommend the bliss kiss nail oil from on Amazon. It’s great stuff!
I actually love the Il Makiage foundation. The match is perfect and it looks so natural. Just goes to show how different products work differently on people.
Same, it took a couple of tries to get the right shade but now that I have a good match I am OBSESSED.
I am so glad you tested the foundation! I've done the quiz before but I think the price threw me. Plus I wasn't sure if it was over hyped. Now I know...lol. It did look great on you, btw. I have the hardest time finding a match. I have so much redness and I'm very fair but also olive toned which I guess is rare? Bc I never can find a match until Frankie Rose.
I had the same oxidizing problem with that foundation. Not after the five minutes, but after like hours and it looked awful!! I was really happy I could send it back because there was nothing I liked about it
I use the Native Unscented Deodorant and it even handles my hot flashes! My hubby is a truck driver and he uses Cucumber and Mint and really likes it too.
Haha you are my new fav!!! How did I just find your channel!!!!!!
Those nails look amazing! 😍
Try mixing the il makiage with your everyday foundation. I found it to work perfectly that way!!
I need to know what color correction product Rachel used, because it looked very interesting!! 😍
For your nails I would try the Lights Lacquer Nail Strengthener! I just got it this week because I also have weak nails and it has made such a drastic difference in a short period of time :)
My husband and I love the charcoal and and the coconut vanilla scents!! My 15 year daughter love the citrus and herbal musk. My husband will go back and forth but my daughter and I only use native.
You just earned my like, follow, subscribe. I the straightforwardness and that you don’t have these hella fake sounding tag lines and fake voice. Be you, do you! New favorite! :) thank you 🙏
the sand and sky Australian pink clay mask is my absolute fav! it doesn't smell the greatest, but i love the way my skin feels and looks after i use it. i tried the emu one and i wasn't that crazy about it. the texture was weird for me and i have issues with textures of things. i also didn't feel like it really did that much for my skin.
Liking this video before you even have one product out of the 📦 simply because of your contagious smile and energy!
I am missing your GRWM videos! Also, I would love to hear your thoughts on the new Rare Beauty launch.
I love the Static Nails and have been using them religiously since December. They stay on for weeks and I love that I can make one set last for a month. They are sold out a lot but worth it for sure! No salon visits and hassle, take about 10 minutes to apply.
Try the lume deo. Its amazing 👏
Onyx Hard as Hoof nail cream and a nail aid treatment (I have the biotin one personally but there are others that I’m sure work great as well). This is what I use to keep my nails super strong. I do dip powder manicures at home so that can wear my nails out pretty quick, but these two in combination have been a life saver!
Try the gray stuff, it's delicious!!!
I live in New Zealand and Sand and Sky is huge here. Their serums are lovely too
Hey Rachel! I have tried the native deodorant before. I have sensitive skin and have tried many kinds of deodorants over the years. I discovered the baking soda in them were causing me huge problems- big red, painful bumps there. I recommend Pretty Frank deodorant, they have a zinc based one that works better. There is a little odor, but I think that is just how it is with deodrants. I put the pretty frank on with baby powder and that seems to help.
I've been wanting to get static nails lol I don't do salon nails... Usually grew my own out fine but have kept them short after having a kid. She's 12 now so I can do long nails but got so used to short ones lol but I like the idea of easy reusable nails that are fancy and different shapes than my natural shape. Plus I suck at nail polish beyond just basic😬 so they really caught my eye online but wasn't sure if they're as good as lead to think. So yeaaaah!
Need this in mah life 😍
