I love this for you. Establishing boundaries will often lead to others disagreeing with us. But that’s okay! I am learning to respect the desires of my own heart, even if that leads to my family not supporting my decisions. It’s my life. It’s not meant for me to live it for them.

Let go of the narrative...you got that right! My friends don't understand why I would downsize...they keep telling me you have to aim for more...I said NO...I want less, I deal and manage with anxiety, O.C.D. Highly sensitive personality disorder and ADHD....I want inner peace more then anything...empty the plate or just keep the plate at a manageable level....the more you have...the more things you have to think about.

Exactly! Enough is Enough. I have thought others lessons for their own hurtful doings and interference in my life which was beyond my control to STOP them. I don’t owe them anything and have now chosen to love 💗 myself, be happy 😃 and is living for myself. We only get one shot at life to live our best selves. Every day we wake up is a gift. Nothing is promised, as we can see before our own eyes that it can be taken away at any moment, at any time, day, month, year and at any age from the day we were born.

Having been raised in a home with fear and uncertainty I knew from a young age that if I pleased others I wouldn’t be left or hurt.
I took that belief into my adulthood and I realized very quickly that good people would take from me but also give back where others would take and take until they drained me.
My business is caring for others and so this can be difficult to escape. However as I aged into my 40s and 50s I started to LOVE me more and only surround myself with people that cared about me or maybe took but knew how to give, people that deserved me and my love and kindness and empathy. What a gift it has been. I do what brings me and my husband and adult children joy or just ME and I fill my soul and it is a huge change. I have empowered myself and it is a beautiful thing.
I love the book Clarity & Connection and I highly recommend it to anyone here.
Blessings to everyone here. Thank you for another beautiful video. 🍑🙌🏻🧡Lisa

Hi Sophie, Great advice! A long time ago 30+ years - I always wondered why I looked up to certain people or why certain people seemed happier and/or more comfortable in there own skin. It's because they were true to themselves, and did not feel they needeed to be like somebody else to impress or be liked. It took me a while, today I am very comfortable with whom and what I am. I'm not bothered by what other people think ( I cannot control that) I am who I am - If you like me ( I think most people who know me do) great. If you don't for some reason - I am sorry but I cannot control that unless I did some harm. And the first rule of NIno is - "Do no harm" It's all good, Life is good, when you don't feel like you need to prove yourself to the world. I love your take on the world Take Care Nino

Great points. Many things you mentioned were things that I hardly ever considered or took the time to actually realize. The question “what is enough” opened my eyes. Looking at that thought externally makes you want more of something once you imagine what that means externally. However when looking at these things internally, you really embrace what you can control and of course quality over quantity

    ✨Enough is such a powerful word✨
when we take a moment to turn inwards
we will really realise we are enough, truly.
so soothing and inspiring thank you.

For me, a critical element of what you're describing (though not totally on point) is that goals change over time. For a while I wanted to be a good musician, but that gradually faded and I moved on to activities with academics and then business. I'd say the one single constant through my time was having laughs with good people.

My husband and I changed our outlook a few years back when we became empty nesters. It was time to live for ourselves. It seems to be harder on others then on us. Often we feel like we are on our own island ( which isn’t a bad thing) being happy doing what we love even if that means watching the hummingbirds and playing Gin for hours. I’m amazed that you are able to figure this out young with everything around you. Congrats for grabbing your life and taking full control.

Recently I lost in a debate competition (it was not for the 1st time) and momentarily it did make me feel as if everything was shattered...but after a few calm moments of introspection I got to know my self worth is not validated by an external accomplishment. I enjoyed to witness my progression and the strength I put forward to face my fear. And I must admit u did play an essential role in helping me set this mindset...thanks for this so much! ❤️✨

There aren’t enough words I can express to thank you for this video! Lately , I have been feeling very depressed, anxious, and insecure. External factors are primarily to blame (i.e work, stress, relationships.) But I have also found that I have been being much too hard on myself. Constantly feeling that urge to always want to satisfy others, leaving myself in the dark. I have been yearning to find happiness within myself. I feel so lost, but your video has inspired me in so many ways. I am inspired to start my journey to self healing , forgiveness, and most importantly finding happiness within myself. Many blessings to you ❤️
