Abandoned BARN FIND Chevy C10 | First Wash In 22 Years | Insane Car Detailing Restoration How To! My son, who is 15, bought this truck to be his first vehicle so he could learn how to work on an engine. We bought it about 2 months ago from a man who had owned the truck for over 20 years. I was skeptical, as was M.A.D. detailing, about what they could do with the paint, or the rims, or the seats. The transformation from before to after was incredible, but watching the process and the care that went into this? Awesome! So grateful for the work done on the truck! Thank you!

I detailed cars for years in my 20’s. Then I moved on to the tech world, but still did my family’s cars until my stroke in 2011. I’m now 52 and unable to work due to my stroke. I really love watching your vlogs. It brings back memories. Sure I miss it, but it gives me great joy to watch you do it. Especially how professional you are. You don’t cut corners. My fav parts of your vlogs are the decontamination of the paint with the clay bar, the light sanding, then pow, buff it out to a high gloss shine. I liked it when you let people know that older cars have better paint quality then new cars. This new paint they put on at the factory and body shops is crap. It’s 11:20 p.m cst and if I still could I would probably be out cleaning my interior. Lol. Keep the videos coming.

One of those old school wood beaded seat covers will help slow down the stretching of the drivers seat fabric. Those seat covers are actually very comfortable and also common for that era.
I love that you guys do old trucks. It shows you know what you're doing. Paint from 86' isn't like paint from 2021. Super impressive work.
You're an absolute beast to do these "restorations" by hand. This one tops them all doing a clay bar, then sanding and polishing. Just prime content! Great job sir!
Personally I like the interior detailing because that takes a bit more knowledge on how to get parts and plastic as well as carpet looking new it really helps me out.

These are the best. Its the shine that everybody sees but may never see the inside. However the inside is just as important. These dull faded ones brought back to life are the best.

Barn finds are cool. I love this truck.
As far as what details I like, I to watch any detail where there is a massive transformation. Whether it be a disaster detail or an old neglected car. I don't care about watching people detail luxury cars that have barely been used, or newer cars that aren't really even dirty.
I don’t really have a favorite, but my choice would definitely be disaster details because I think have the greatest differences. If you think about it barn finds are usually cars that are never touched for a long time while disaster details are usually cars that are neglected which usually means they have been touched but not maintained.

I like the videos when you bring a car\truck back from the dead. I also like how you try to help with tail lights and powder coating rims for a surprise. It changes things up. Like the dye for the carpets on this truck. Very cool.

Excellent job, the only thing I would recommend is do paint touch-up to let it cure in. Then as you buff the vehicle out, it would not be any nicks and chips showing up. I'm retired now and it's wonderful to see a younger generation coming along taking up the trade. Hats off to you gentlemen!!!

I like all your videos. But there's something about those disasters that I just love. One one hand it astounds me how ppl live and how they can let a car get to that point, on the other hand, it's always so darn satisfying seeing the epic end results.
Great video as usual. I’m partial to old square body Chevrolets….I’m the proud 3rd owner of a 1989 K5 Blazer ( I know some will say it’s wasn’t a K5 in 1989) that’s been mine since February, 2003. It’s been my money 💰 pit….lol. I’ve taken really good care of it and it’s mostly garage kept as well as being a rust free vehicle…... These things in good original shape are going for decent money. If they have been restored, you better have plenty of cash on hand.

I loved this video! I had a blue '81 Chevy long bed that I found in an Oklahoma field. I was restoring it when I was offered an all black Corvette and my wife said that I "Can't have both." So I sold it. I do miss it and wish I could have finished it.

I just found your channel. I've watched another detailer in Canada and I love when he does the absolute disasters. I've vacuumed and cleaned the inside of my car before and one thing I learned is that detailers definitely definitely earn their money. It really is a skill to turn a nasty dirty vehicle into something that looks brand new. Much respect for you guys.
