I would also like to know if anyone has done Jamb prep for the Tectus hinges on the job site using the plate.
Also most of my doors call out for Tectus 340 hinges. Can you do prep for these or any of the larger tectus hinges?
Great video on installing the Tectus 240 door hinge. I guess you are assuming the door jamb is not already in place and could be cut using the same process at the workbench? The Origin could be difficult to use in a vertical orientation if you are trying to cut out the door jamb on-site. Anyone done this or is it easier to just make a template and use a traditional router with guide bushings for the door jamb?
Yep, you will need to cut the jamb on a bench. Not recommended to operate Origin vertically.
