Soda bread 🍞 made with baking soda. Really authentic Irish food.
Love RiRa’s fish n chips & their fries r unique tasting & flavorful. When we had it the portions were huge. Will try their Scotch eggs next time.

Irish Soda Bread is a quick bread that does not require any yeast. Instead, all of its leavening comes from baking soda and buttermilk. It doesn't usually come plain like that - usually there are raisins, or nuts, etc.
In my experience, even plain, soda bread is yummiest when generously slathered with an embarrassing amount of Irish butter 🤤
If you’re planning on an Irish redheaded wife, you should learn to love Soda Bread. It’s delicious!

My very first job at 15 was in a fish n chip restaurant that also sold fresh fish and seafood. You need to smother your chips with malt vinegar and ketchup, lots of salt and pepper. Soooo good😋😁 Just tartar sauce for the fish though . Hi Steve !👋Craving some fish n chips now.

Fried fish used for Irish Fish & Chips is usually a cod fillet so you should not have to worry about bones.

Ill go there as soon as i get my Nevada driver's license. 40% off for locals on Friday. If all the strip restaurants did that locals discount I would havevgotten my license changed out sooner. Great video as always. No malt vinegar for me either.

My grandmother made Irish soda bread for us every week. You got to toast it and put butter on it. The slices they gave you were very dark

The egg is stuffed with the yolk. After its boiled the egg is cut in half and then yolk is taken out mashed with mayo or whatever the recipe is

If I'm not mistaken you had "chips" not french fries. That's why they're called fish n chips in the UK. Not sure how "chips" are made would have to Google it. Just trying to help. Enjoy your new life in Vegas. How often will you visit New York or won't you!

We went there and got bad service they sat us at the back next to housekeeping closet did not let us move to the front while they were playing live music. Food was good but didnt serve our drinks or utensils. Will never go back.

No wonder the soda bread was free.
It's a shame they made that bread funky like that. Irish soda bread is normally a white bread with a coarser crumb because you use baking powder to make it raise instead of yeast like regular bread.
Gotta admit I’m craving good fish ‘n’ chips now. But, DTM, ketchup on the fish? What’s next: mayo on your hot dog? Ketchup has no place near fish. Tartar sauce and malt vinegar all day long.
