Hi everyone, thank you so much for all the nice comments, I didn't expect such a great response after not making a video for so long. Also I would like to say that there's someone in the comments pretending to be me and telling people about a giveaway. Don't click on anything, because it's a fake account, I've never done a giveaway.
Glad to have you back Nik, your videos have been one of my favourites from the beginning of your journey, so much so I have begun to build my own cabin here in the South West of the UK, thanks for motivating me !
Привет из России. Главный герой одного нашего фильма сказал. Хороший дом, семья что ещё надо мужчине что бы встретить старость. Дом и семья есть, а старость нас не догонит. 😊
Hi Nik, we love your videos, here in the USA. I have watched them all. I have thought about you many times on whether you and your family were alright. Happy to hear from you and see what you have done on your log home. Cheers Nik! 👍👏
I have to admit I’m one of those concerned viewers that thought you might’ve had an accident while building, I’m elated to know you’re ok and your family is fine. I love the progress you’ve made. Cheers mate.

The fact of the matter NIk, is that I watch your channel (this one) for the very interesting content of the video. In my opinion, you don't need to change your method of presentation at all. Your work speaks for itself and really has enough voice over that you don't need that much more conversation. Most of the viewers, I would say, became fascinated with the way your work was presented to us, the youtube public. This method is working for you and you really shouldn't change just because there are some that may differ in opinion. Let them get there own channel and produce it the way they want. As for me, I am glad that you are back and, look forward to more of your videos that are presented as you envisioned them. Peace be with you.
I am very happy that you are back, and as someone who has watched this amazing project since its inception and am familiar with your seasonal breaks in content I had assumed that this was the reason for the break. Still, any reason a content creator needs to take a break is perfectly reasonable and expected. If anyone who tells you otherwise is unreasonable. You do amazing work, and it is worth the wait.
Welcome back to UA-cam Nik. I’m glad you got the room closed in before winter. I’ve missed seeing you and your family and friends working on your projects. This is a great adventure! 😊 Thanks for sharing it with us.
Dear Nik, I´m so happy to see you again working on your cabin and knowing, nothing bad happened to you and your family. You did a really good job all the years and hopefully you succeed in anything you plan to do the next time. Please don`t let your followers wait another half year - we all are hungry to see the development of your home. Best wishes from northern Germany to you and your family.
Nik, the window casings are absolutely beautiful. I love the natural wood look. Can’t wait to see what you and your family have done to the place. Best wishes from Virginia, U.S.A.

Glad to see you back and I for one amongst many have truly missed seeing your castle, you and your family. I’m sure glad all is ok. I don’t understand UA-cam’s obsession with making all video creators open up a second channel is it that it’s costing them so much, so they make you start again you must be the 15th creator that’s been forced to make another channel that I watch and a few of them already have a second channel running along side of the one I watch. Tbh I don’t generally watch the second channel as I struggle to fit in all the channels I already watch but do whatever feels right to you and I might watch your second channel when this one goes off for a while haha. Nice to see the work continuing and you managed to get it dried in before the rains came. I look forward to seeing the inside work done .
Wow, you have come very far! I remember living off grid for years with no hot water. We did electricity and I took an old coffee machine and converted it into a hot tub LOL. I bought a plastic bathtub, drilled a whole for the heating element of the coffee pot and installed it. Took about 30 minutes, the water was nice and warm, turned it off, unplugged it and hopped in LOL.

With you, I saw that other people besides your family helped you a little, but me, apart from my wife and very little my father, I did absolutely alone the whole house! 😃I wish you maximum health and all the best with your loved ones!👍
I don't have your phone number
Hey Nik thank you for the update and as always I really enjoy watching you work on your place. I am pretty use to the long interludes between uploads so I didn't think anything of it but, I am glad that you and your family are well. Life is a full time job let alone working on your place. hehe
Take good care of yourself and your family Nik and all my best to you all always. Until the next update cheers!
