It gets tiring after years of seeing other people say one dub is better than the other. I personally can’t choose since I love both dubs and they both have strong and weak points that the other lacks.
Kai is literally just a better version of Z though. Some people still to this day think it's more censored because they only saw the nicktoons version, but the blu rays have all the same blood. And they actually use curse words in the blu ray kai version. Blu Ray Kai is literally the definitive version of DBZ and if you think otherwise you either haven't seen it, or just have rose tinted goggles.

The japanese, especially the broadcast audio, is the best way to watch Dragon Ball Z. But in terms of which dub is better, definitely the Kai dub for mature language, closer to the manga etc. The original funimation dub is pretty corny and cookie cutter. Only thing that it does better is Majin Vegeta’s lines. I like some of the Faulconer ost too.
