The African / Arab slave trade dwarfed the trans Atlantic slave trade. It was established a full 700 years before the European traders showed up. The men were castrated on arrival in Arabia, Strangely there is no mention of that history here, Nor the fact it was Africans themselves who sold each other into slavery. In fact millions of people are still being held in bondage in Africa today.
This series is about the British Empires slave trade. People like you both clearly are annoyed that slavery is talked about in such a frank manner, I wonder why? Are you guilty of how your country and your ancestors enriched themselves?

As for my impoverished working class ancestors, They worked down coal mines and died young as a result. I suggest you ask your manipulators if they feel any shame for the tens of millions who were thrown into slave labour camps under socialist regimes in the 20th century.
@@paulsmith1981 You sound like an angry, bitter and sad old man, I feel bad for you! 1. Why did your ancestors work at Mines and die from black lung? Because they had no choice for other work and were exploited by the ruling class! 2. What did socialism bring? The weekend, 8 hour work day, worker’s safety laws, banning labour for children etc. If you live in the UK, the NHS. 3. You accuse me of being indoctrinated while you are here having direct experience of exploitation and then saying that socialism was the problem?! It sounds like you are the indoctrinated one. You are insane!

Thank you for speaking up for this woman and het experience. I honor the millions that died with no voice.
