I love the color! it really warms up your completion :) my only suggestion would be not to overlap the color into your already colored hair. keep it on your regrowth and it help keep the already colored part from getrying dried out. us curly girls need to keep our hair moist ♡
Lessette Eaglechild yes most definitely! Since this video was posted I've tried to make sure I keep the focus on my roots for that reason. Thanks for watching and the feedback!
The bottle turns warm because the color is processing, so when you mix it you have to move quickly because the color stops processing after 20-25 minutes
NaturalBeautee7 thanks!!! I will keep them coming! And I do have a twist out video that's up, will work on the other! Have definitely been wanting to try a perm rod set. And good luck coloring your hair again! I'm always team red
Love the style!!! I would really love to see you do a product review of Straight Silk Spray by JuniorLabs. It absolutely maintains my hair silky smooth ❤️❤️❤️❤️
😭😭 Gurl the tab thing you took off of the top of the applicator bottle was supposed to keep the dye in while you shook it so you wouldn't have to hold your finger over the top lol Edit: Also, the booster is bleach if you did not know.
MsMessey yeah the instructions did say to remove it and I noticed when you use your finger it allows the mixture to settle back down into the bottle after shaking it
It was probably the 2nd time that I used the honey blonde color that my hair got really bright. The first time coloring it while Burgundy it was more of a very light brown/gold.
Love the ombre look very nice ❤by the way the reason it feels warm because its processing the color into the hair right and when you don't use it Right away. And after 20-30 minutes it wont process and it will not lift and take to your hair.
i used that product the first time i dyed my hair i loved it but i wanted it to turn out brighter i was thinking about using developer do you recommend it?.. if so what kind should i buy?
I've actually never tried a developer before but I have been thinking about it also. As far as recommending it, I would say only if you are comfortable and feel your hair is strong and healthy enough to take it. If I decide to try one I will be sure to post a video of it and keep you all posted! If you use one let me know your thoughts and experience!
Tell me u say u we're a blazing burgundy what did u use to get the red out ur hair cuz I an red but want change it blond under it so what did u do get rid the red now do tell me look nice I use that color to sometime SheliaP thanks🌺🥀🌹🏵️💮🌸💐🌻🌼🌺🥀🌹🏵️💮🌸🌷🌼💐🌻
my hair color is in between dark brown and off black. I want it the EXACT color honey blonde. would I have to dye my hair brown first then go over it a second time with the honey blonde? I NO NOTHING ABOUT DYING HAIR. this is my first time . ALSO I don't want anything permanent and what would be the best brand specifically for black women!
Dangela Owens hmmm that can be kind of tricky because it my not get to the exact honey blonde color you want until maybe the 2nd time you dye it that color, but my experience has only been with permanent so I’m not sure how that would work using semi-permanent dye. And I’ve always used Clariol’s textures and tones brand for my and my best friend’s hair who is 4c. I find it works great on our (black girl) hair. But I hear Creme of Nature is good too
How did you get the Blazing burgundy out your hair? I also dyed my hair blazing burgundy and I really want to change the color to honey blonde but I'm having such a hard time getting the red color out my hair I've been natural for 4 years and I really don't want to chance bleach in my hair so what product did you use to get it out
First, thanks for watching! Second, I didn't do anything special. I had washed my hair maybe once after dying it blazing burgundy before going straight to the honey blonde hair dye. The reason my hair looks so light in this video is because this is about the 2nd time that I used the honey blonde and a few months after switching from the burgundy. Hope that helps :-)
I typically do not add extra product to my hair days leading up to when I would dye it. But its recommended that you wash your hair after you've applied the dye, not before.
Did you use the same method when dying your hair to blonde from your burgundy hair? Or did you have to bleach it first? I currently have a copper hair color but I want make it that color that you have now.
kara niakim yes I used the same method. I didn’t bleach my hair but I do use the small booster that comes in the kit which helps to lift the color a bit. And when I first transitioned from burgundy, I let the color sit a little longer than I do now when just touching it up
Lit Compilations if you make sure to deep condition regularly after coloring it you should be fine. You may also realize that the dye may change your texture just a bit too but usually natural hair is much healthier than relaxed and so the color, if done correctly, shouldn’t cause much damage. Just remember to condition condition condition!!! Lol
Shirli Williams from what I’ve researched bleach is much harsher than boosters. Even though the booster helps with lifting the color, it doesn’t lift it as many shades as bleach does
Don’t break the tip before shaking it up . But it’s weird because the directions literally say break the tip lol . But probably because chemical reactions blah blah blah
I'm a year and 6 mos natural. I went out and bought creme of natural hair dye but im afraid to dye it honestly I didn't have good experience with hair dye when I was relaxed
Jjamie C congrats on your 1 1/2 natural journey mark! And Don't dye your hair yourself until you're completely comfortable in doing it. Best advice is to follow the instructions. Good news is your natural hair is (should be) much stronger than when it was relaxed. Good luck!

Kupid S right and when you don't use it Right away it will not lift and take to your hair .
Kupid S. By like your hair very cool
Kupid S yeah that makes a lot of sense thanks!
I would love to see more hair videos!! 😃😃 your hair is gorgeous 😍😍 would love to see a twist out... your product stash, perm rod set, etc
NaturalBeautee7 thanks!!! I will keep them coming! And I do have a twist out video that's up, will work on the other! Have definitely been wanting to try a perm rod set. And good luck coloring your hair again! I'm always team red
thanks doll! I watched all your vids..Can't wait to see more. God bless
Looks nice.
Aminah A thank you
Thinking of coloring my hair again but my hair is black and I also don't want to bleach 🤔🤔🙄 I want red
You might need to go over it twice. With darker hair, the bleach will lighten the first try, but desired lighter results comes the second try.

Naturally Emi oh ok thanks!
That is not true the top should be open because it is too dangerous to shake any mixed chemical.
Actually I take the top of so the bottle won’t explode..
MsMessey yeah the instructions did say to remove it and I noticed when you use your finger it allows the mixture to settle back down into the bottle after shaking it
Beautiful i love it thank you gonna try to do mine
Thank you and let me know how yours turns out!
👍 GOOD JOB 🥰
Pretty
k thanx imma check target out ☺
how did u get rid of the red, do u think i can use blonde box dye over my red hair and manage to get a light brown or honey blonde/brown
Mine took a hour to lift .... I think I might go back and do it again with lightest blonde but idk
Jasmine G oh wow yeah I try not to keep it in longer than 45 minutes. What color was your hair before using the honey blonde?
Next time use a bonnet hair dryer. It will process your hair faster.
What's the difference from bleaching and lighting your hair it has to be some bleach ?
bleaching is just a harsher chemical.
How did you transition from burgundy to blonde? My hair is currently red but I wanna go blonde. How long did the process take you?
It was probably the 2nd time that I used the honey blonde color that my hair got really bright. The first time coloring it while Burgundy it was more of a very light brown/gold.

Daphneamy360 thank u! And ok that makes since because it is a chemical

Did Your Hair Look That Blonde After The First Time That You Dyed It? Or Did It Take Multiple Tries? Btw It Looks Gorgeous 😍
Baby Cee no the first time it was more of a golden brown. This was about my 4th time dying it. And thanks!!!
The QUE Network Alright I'm Gonna Try It Today, Thanks!
Baby Cee how did it go?
Did you start with clean hair or did it have product in it from your last wash day??
I typically do not add extra product to my hair days leading up to when I would dye it. But its recommended that you wash your hair after you've applied the dye, not before.
I didn't have enough dye to cover my ends.how long do I have to wait before I can dye my ends again?
I would recommend waiting at least 4-6 weeks
Do I add all the texture tones inside the bottle ?
Yes
Does Clairol come with the color booster?
Yes it does
I’m getting my hair dyed soon
Amahra Morris cool!
How many bottles of dye do you use for your hair
Terra Lee I usually use two
Did you use the same method when dying your hair to blonde from your burgundy hair? Or did you have to bleach it first? I currently have a copper hair color but I want make it that color that you have now.
kara niakim yes I used the same method. I didn’t bleach my hair but I do use the small booster that comes in the kit which helps to lift the color a bit. And when I first transitioned from burgundy, I let the color sit a little longer than I do now when just touching it up
you dye your hair every month?
At the time I would dye it every 6-8 weeks
I have natural hair and I want to dye the ends of my hair , do you think it will damage it
Well...if u bleach and dye it too much it will get damaged but if its your first time it wont really
Lit Compilations if you make sure to deep condition regularly after coloring it you should be fine. You may also realize that the dye may change your texture just a bit too but usually natural hair is much healthier than relaxed and so the color, if done correctly, shouldn’t cause much damage. I just tried this color it look orange/blonde
The toner
the booster is bleach no?
Shirli Williams from what I’ve researched bleach is much harsher than boosters. Even though the booster helps with lifting the color, it doesn’t lift it as many shades as bleach does
Do u have gray hair I want to know how it work with gray hair because I do have gray hair lol. Great video nice head of hair
Jamerican QUEEN thank u! And I actually do have a few random gray strands in the front but the blonde covers them quite nicely.
Don’t break the tip before shaking it up . But it’s weird because the directions literally say break the tip lol . But probably because chemical reactions blah blah blah

I'm a year and 6 mos natural. I went out and bought creme of natural hair dye but im afraid to dye it honestly I didn't have good experience with hair dye when I was relaxed

when you first did the burgundy did you bleach?
frances kandeh no i didn't
This is really Wrong u should start from back
Thanks for watching. I prefer to start in the front because I like the front of my head to be a little lighter than the middle / back.
Your mother is wrong
🍊
It annoys me when persons take off the tab that’s supposed to stay on until you’ve finished shaking the bottle 😕but eh
Yeah but for some reasons the instructions say to remove if
IM ALMOST 9 MONTHS OF BEING NATRUAL
DONUT MYSTERY keep going!
