Hi, so how do we know when to find the intersection between x and y and when to just sketch the region D from the graph we graphed.
In 11:37, why are the boundaries of r from 0 to 1 and not -1 to 1.
When you project the hemisphere, you will get x^2+y^2 = 1.
r is the radius measured from the origin to the boundary so it ranges from 0 to 1 and is always positive (it's the distance from the origin to the boundary).
