I got admission from Colorado State University. Thanks Ben. I had many personal reasons but your video helped me to organize them and hopefully present them wll to VO. I like Colorado, Texas, south western states because of their culture, weather. Because they are less populous. I had a friend in the University and that was my first introduction to it. And I like the program on a personal level because it is about social change.

@@asadoripov8661 I told him I attended a welcome event which the college organized and it gave a really good impression. Also the weather is similar to that of my city. The VO was really convinced just by this answer and approved my visa 😊

I went for an interview last month and was denied. Not because I didn't have funds. I had it and in excess via a scholarship. But the wicked VO never gave me a chance to explain anything as to how I got the scholarship. I'm sure he was so hell bent on denying me. I just wonder why a lot of VOs behave so irrationally. Now my plans have been thwarted, no near date for another interview, my start date is next month and every plan I have has been ruined all because of one jealous VO that sees everything bad in a foreigner getting a scholarship from the US.

Mr. Ben, I got admitted to two universities, and I chose Murray State University, which was one of the universities I got admitted to, my personal reason for choosing the university is that the university is located in a conducive environment, their fees are affordable, based on my own research about the school, they have a good ground on Information Technology because they have a good track record, so this is my personal reason for choosing the school. I will be grateful Mr. Ben if I get a reply from you.
I also chose Murray state university because a family friend finished from the university now back to Nigeria for NYSC

Then tell me why this visa officer denied me immediately I told him I choose the school because the place has similar weather to my home country, he even looked at me with a strange face and said"you chose this place because of the weather" and immediately told me I don't qualify for the visa.
I think that wasn't reason enough. One could have studied in his or her hometown.

What's the best answer for - why you choose this University? Pls help me. My interview is very soon.
My best friend recommended the school to me. He graduated from the same school in 2021 and he is currently in Ghana, working with the Ghana Volta River Authority(GVRA) as a senior engineering consultant. He told me positive things about the school. I also did my personal research and got to know that they offer strong practical lab training in the field I want to study.

Hope that you are doing great! I have just been denied for the 2nd time this year for my F-1 visa renewal for continuing graduate studies (I have one more year to finish). Could you please answer the following question? Is there an issue if my sponsor is an American resident? My GPA is over 3.7, I had all the documents, I provided the correct information to the officer and my attitude was positive throughout the interviews. Thank you for your consideration!

And I have other question that my family and I had a DV visa interview with the consular, actually were six family members parents and four kids. The consular give us the visas except my son 16 years old put his visa under administrative processing without giving any reason.
So what I have to do and how long this process will take?

@@currentlysituation9472 okay, after 2015 wat have you been doing inbetween l mean 2015 and 2022 this is wat they want to know maybe you have been working which is good l mean then explain it say maybe l studied abc and then got a job been working for this period and l always had a dream of a bachelor's now that l have saved enough money l want to ressume and acquire it
To bring you up to speed talk about yr own situation as you may be you wanted to upgrade for this bachelor's after 2015 by then you didn't have the money yet and decided to work a bit then ow you have it that is why now you want to do it.go through their shorts , videos you will find alot of answers in there especially Ben and Mandy and wish you luck

@@abduljalalkhan465 i was recently interviewed and a guy next to me in the que was refused but he argued with the visa officer for a long time and when it came to me the visa officer just left the counter and started walking around the lobby and was trying to calm down, and finally she came back to the window I personally greet her but she didn't answer my greetings and asked me for i20 and passport and when I passed that she thrown it back and said remove the rubber band then i removed the rubber band and she barely look into my i20 and passport and kept aside and then asked me which university you're going to? i answered and then she asked me another question why this university i was in the middle of my answer she just gave me the yellow Chet and handover my passport and i20 and refused my visa, i am just wondering that i was the victim who faced the consequences for someone else's behavior, it was totally unethical how she come up with this conclusion, she should not mix up her emotions and profession, thousands of students are rejected without any reason. what i assumed there is no authentication everything depends upon visa officer's mood and luck.

Hi Argo, I had my F1 denied in a foreign country though there wasn't any interaction but one question which I did my best to answer. The VO said i should apply in my home country. What could be the problem ? If I reapply in the same country, what can I say when asked about why I was denied
