I have to confess at not being a bodybuilder, or a complete fitness freak and I only started getting interested in these former bodybuilders because I found it by accident on you tube and found them fascinating. The heart and devotion to their sport is incredible and I’ve certainly learned a lot about diet, mental preparation and just general fitness since I started listening to them and this guy is the real deal 👏

Tom Platz still has the giant garden hose veins snaking up and down his arms. Hes still got it and you can tell hes in great shape. What a great motivator. You just gotta love him.
Tom Platz is awesome. Love his talk of the spirit of the art of the soul in bodybuilding. I had the privilege to meet him at a seminar when I was a teenager. I’m so glad to see he hasn’t changed. He’s an awesome mentor and great speaker and icon of the sport for sure. Love to see him more on UA-cam.

Becoming; Your Own Champion and Creating Your Own Victory, Bringing; the mind, body and Spirit of Greatness to Oneself. The Body Building Lifestyle is a REAL Adventure. Competing against Others and winning make you famous. Overcoming ones own doubts makes you rich. There truly is NO Dollar Figure that can apply itself to Contentment. There can be NO Doubt when one does his or her Best. We measure "Ourselves" as good when we stand alone. And so it is There we compete With our greatest adversary, me... love you Tom...
We gotta hand it to the Golden Eagle at age 64, he still reigns big in legendary circles from the Arnold, Zane, Franco, Ferrigno bodybuilding era in the 70's and early 80's. In spite of only winning one major title (IFBB Amateur Universe), and never the Mr America, the Eagle was and is one of the most recognizable bodybuilders from times gone by, right up to present day. Young enthusiasts recognize him for his passion, his dedication and of course, his lower body mass. We should all be so lucky to have the drive and knowledge to build legs to that proportion! Of all bodybuilders from that time, he seems to be the most down to earth and approachable, and I hope he never loses that attitude.

Great stuff!! But has we age this desire to be champion diminishes because of aging process. Its very hard to have to accept aging our lifes work disappears.

I train by my self now for years, and very rarely do straight sets, all by feel and instinct witch takes years imo.
