This film depicts a Prince, who has the vision to feed the world with organic agriculture and heal damaged nature. Alongside his charismatic farm manager David Wilson, he has been pursuing this goal for 30 years. Through poetically impressive images, this unique collaboration portrays how organic agriculture works, and the benefits that emanate from it. Bertram Verhaag observed these two visionaries over the course of five years - through all four seasons.
The Prince of Wales already felt strongly about the concept of organic and sustainable farming long before the word “sustainability” was on everyone’s lips. More than 30 years ago, he realised that other farmers could only be swayed to cultivate their land without poisons and in harmony with nature, if they were presented with a practical example. This example turned into an exceptional success and now, farmers from all over the United Kingdom travel to the Duchy Home Farm, to gather the courage and knowledge they need, to convert to organic themselves. Prince Charles appears in an entirely unusual light, which forces the viewer to throw all prejudices towards him and organic agriculture overboard.

It is very heartwarming to see his majesty the king so involved in organic farming for the future and sustainability of the land and therefore us.
They are only doing it for the camera, you can be sure that they didn’t spend all day doing it and he is a globalist and their plan is to ends agriculture.

Charles didn't kill Diana. Dodi's father spent years and millions of dollars investigating the accident.
The result of all the investigations is the driver of the vehicle, Henri Paul, caused their deaths.
Henri Paul was intoxicated and speeding at around 65 or 70 miles an hour, twice the legal speed. Henri swerved to avoid rear ending a white fiat in the tunnel, damaged the taillight on the fiat, scraped the side of the Mercedes. Hit the wall and the 13th pillar in a tunnel.
Diana was not wearing a seatbelt. Diana suffered from a concussion, broken arm and a cut to her thigh in the crash, but what ultimately took her life were her severe chest wounds. Her heart was displaced in her chest and she suffered a tear to her pulmonary vein that proved lethal and caused internal bleeding. The delay in getting her to the hospital was because she went into cardiac arrest and was revived multiple times before getting to the hospital. They worked on her at the hospital but could not get her heart to beat properly.
In all the investigations the royal family was proven innocent.

Years later the mystery of the white fiat was solved. The reason the driver didn't come forward was because he was an immigrant and afraid of being deported. He immediately repaired the fiat and painted it red after the accident.
Henry Paul, the driver of the car Diana died in, was an employee of Dodi Fyad’s father so it’s not surprising that he was looking for someone else to blame for the accident.
This is very old news. 25years ago a tragic accident occurred. Many families cope with this every day. My own family has lost two members this way and we remember them with love not bitterness.

Prince Charles is extolling the virtues of good farming that was used a 100 years ago. Old farmers using the land as it should be. Cows eating grass. Clover that enriches the grass. Natural fencing encasing smaller meadows and protecting the soil from erosion. We need the hedges and trees. Cows that nurse their young whilst giving modest yields of quality milk. Chickens living proper lives on grass, scratching and pecking through the ground and giving eggs full of goodness. Less man made and back to natural fertilisers and food stuffs equals a healthier body and mind.

The poor man was called all sorts of things, blamed for Diana’s death... such rubbish. He has endured so much. He raised 2 wonderful children, he is much more attentive to his children and grand children.
I mean, from what I've heard he did cheat on her but it doesn't change the fact that he doesn't seem to be a bad man. He comes across as a very intelligent person.
Ekstremalnie Nierealny but she did cheat too. The only two people who really and truly know what their marriage was like is Charles and Diana. She’s an English Rose with no faults in death and buried, RIP and he’s alive to continually take he brunt of their sad mismatched relationship forever. I loved her and we will all never forget her but I think it’s time to move on.

This is the area that I admire Prince Charles... this is what the world needs...
My Grandparents were farmers in the USA and all Prince Charles is saying this is how they did it in their day and their farm flourished for themselves and their 8 children and also us, their 26 grandchildren. It was a magnificent place to be a child and teenager. I really like and admire Prince Charles.
I have so much respect for Prince Charles. He genuinely cares for small farms on Dartmoor like my small blueberry farm.

Wonderful. I've been purchasing Duchy Organics for years which is now independent I believe, but he started it and up until recently it's been one of the few ways to get organic food in my area. The whole milk is fantastic. The produce, well worth it.

Quietly, the Prince of Wales and Duke of Cornwall has been making a difference. The film looks to be inspiring, as well as educational.
I believe whatever problem or disagreement families have the younger ones in the family should learn and not be aggravated by unnecessary quarrels. Media can always be critical of what humans do. However, it is for individuals to take the negative and work on it to achieve a better outcome. I also believe God has put people in power to lead us as well as they (in power) to realise it is our creator who has allowed them to be born in such privileged environment and so believe in God that He created all that we have. Well done Duchy of Cornwall.

Yes, legumes (clovers) fix nitrogen into the soil & make it more fertile; however, I won't hay it for my horses. Too rich!( Laminitis & founder, of course!) I like Timothy or orchard grass mix hay, first cutting. Not too rich for my fat pasture potatoes! Lol! I congratulate you, Charles, for getting back to basics & listening & learning with your farm manager. I have some plans for some new test plots this coming year, too! I tried tobacco & cotton this past summer. They grew! (Who knew? Lol!) There are cultivars for just about every climate. Fun experimenting- lots of learning!
I want to plant blueberries, grapes, & raspberries this Spring. And some heirloom wheat. Buying a hand grinder to make flour, too! Very excited!
I have seen other films about Charles' works, but did not know of this one. I will look for a copy to view.
