Amy Lee has the Voice of an Angel! I’m tellin you what! I loved me some Evanescence growing up and still do! I’m so they have collaborated not once..BUT TWICE! I pray for more Collabs between them in the future! Straight chills from this song! Every time!

Omg we are actually the same person. Lindsey Stirling and Evanescence are also pretty much all I listen to and the fact that this song exists has me hardcore shook. My life is now complete tbh.
I'm pretty sure you're spot on with your interpretation of the meaning. It's a powerful message, and the song itself is pure magic. It was neat to hear how this collaboration developed, with Amy taking the song and adding more to it than was originally planned. I think this song had deep personal meaning for both of them, and that came through in a big way. It's stunning.
Let’s be real, foreverglow and love goes on and on are the pure guts of this album. So meaningful, they just make you think about the world differently

Hey! I'm a new subscriber. This is the first video of yours I have watched and I plan on watching them all. It's also the first time that I listened to this particular song. :)
Don't be afraid to show emotion, that's one of the problems the world has right now. I LOVE that you were as open as you were here. I love both of these ladies as well, I just have not been fortunate enough to have seen any concerts of theirs.
I lost my Dad in 2006. We had warning that it was coming, since he had been diabetic for YEARS and it kept progressing. He finally had to be put on Dialysis, and he lasted three years having to go get his blood cleaned out three times per week.
I had the privilege of being there with him and I was holding his hand when he left us. RIGHT AFTER I walked out of the place where he had died, it was a sunny day with a few clouds. There was one cloud that looked to me and my (now ex-)wife like an Angel, and there was another cloud that looked like an Eagle (Dad's favorite animal, symbol of freedom; Dad and I are both U.S. veterans). It looked from our perspective like the Angel was helping pull the Eagle upward, helping it fly. It was just too perfect NOT to believe that there is something greater out there, and it wanted to comfort us.
It was difficult to explain what we were seeing to Gramma, my Dad's mother (her eyes had degenerated very badly). But she was okay after that, knowing that Dad was at peace.
The sound of her violin is what got me. It sounds so magical yet down to earth. Raw, as you put it.

I cannot say I'm a huge fan of Evanescence; however, it was my pleasure to see them live two years ago - mainly because of Amy Lee's voice.
The way her voice and the violin is mixed together here makes this song stunningly beautiful.
This one... really hits home for me. When I was in college, a friend of mine named Jason introduced me to the music of Evanescence. Many years later after our graduation, I introduced him to the music of Lindsey Stirling. When the Artemis album came out, I was glad to be able to share with him the song that Lindsey and Amy Lee produced together. And then... a short time later, on July 2nd of 2022, Jason unexpectedly passed away. I still miss him greatly to this day, even more so whenever I hear this song.

i don’t listen to linsey stirrling u less it’s with evanescence. yes i’m the other person who only listens to evanescence and maybe more of limday stirrling bc i didn’t know they were good friends until i found out ab their tour they had in 2018 when i kinda didn’t pay attention to their music. started coming fully in depth with their music over a month ago when i came home from vacation a rn their so g randomly came on for my playlist but i’ve been a fan since 4th grade
Perhaps don't listen to the song on repeat for the next week, and just listen to the entire album on repeat instead. There's not a bad song on it that deserves to be skipped, and it will give you time to recover before this song comes around again!! (That's how I listen to all of Lindsey's albums!)
