Very useful to have different point of views, just like your earlier tutorial also filmed straight from above. It showes the path, cut etc very well. Bring it on 2024!

Can you do a video on how to a heelside backside 360? Having a weird time spinning the other way around, any tips on getting use to spinning the other way around?

Yeah we’ll get one done for you! Try and even just practice spinning that way on the ground with a handle and then when you’re on the water make sure to pull the handle hard and strong towards your back pocket and turn your head to help to rotate

I learned the Backroll years ago with Kite and Kiteboard first ;-) . The transfer to Wakeboard was easy. But hey …. I can‘t do Raley.

It definitely feels weird on kite! How did it compare when you transferred it to the cable?

Your tutorials are pretty good thanks guys. I can do backrolls and backroll to revert pretty consistently, but can't release a freaking raley 😅. I'll re-watch the part of this video where you explain the difference for the scooping, that's definitely where I struggle... Do you scoop both feet or just the front one for the raley?

Thank you! And yeah Raleys can be a scary but understand the scoop will help you a lot. You want to focus on scooping with mainly the front foot and using that to release your board into the air 👍🏼

What is easier backrol or railey ?

I think raley is a little easier but it can hurt more to learn! Backroll is a nice introduction to air tricks without such heavy crashes

Make sure to keep your body very strong on the preparation! When you release keep your arms strong, but avoid pulling on the handle!

The scoop is still a mystery in every video made in youtube. Do I just kick my front foot back and wait for the cable to pull me into the air? Or do I dig in my heels trying to come to a full stop like with snowboarding? Do I kick my front leg back and come off my edge at the same time? I still don’t really get how you can kick your foot back and to the side at the same time.. any tips?

Hey man! The scoop is notoriously the hardest part about any trick. Really try to think using your front foot to scoop back to slow yourself down which will create a lot of tension.
Honestly the best way to learn is to just keep trying and figure out what works for you!
