Tough review my friend u run a lot of my favorite drills. I like the gun for the most part but wouldn’t put it before A Canik or a sig 320…I agree the trigger is better than Glock but can we deem it reliable??? Only time will tell. I bought a few for resale…the hype has died down a great bit. Good review!
It's okay that you can't stand XD(M)'s, I equally can't stand Glocks...except for the G34. And I can tolerate a G48.But I'll sell you a Glock in a heartbeat because I know many people love Glocks. As long as the money's good, Glock On. Thanks for you honest review. I'll be getting my Echelon next month.

You drive the gun between targets on that Baer drill very well. I appreciate you demonstrating the firearms on a timer as it makes the review process a bit more objective, and your skill level makes it possible to see those differences between the pistols materialize.
In the beginning of the video, You said this was literally your first shots out of the gun. Sooooo the Optic on the pistol came with the gun sighted/ zeroed in. 🤷♂️ ?
I slaved the dot to my iron sights at home. Those were literally my first shots. I latter confirmed on paper and only had to make a slight adjustment at 10 yards. Does that answer your question?💁
I watch both your videos this one as well as your other one about the Springfield echelon video back to back with your Shadow systems Dr 920 videos and I was wondering which one of the two would you recommend for somebody for a first-time full-size firearm purchase. I have been debating between these two guns for several weeks now. Great videos... keep them coming!!
How the hell did Glocks become the gun that every other is judged by? I think they suck. People buy them and spend tons more money trying to customize them into what many guns like this already are right from the box. I had a Glock 19 and never could get to the point where i understood the hype, even after mods. I picked up an Echelon a few weeks ago, and it's definitely a keeper.
Just got back from the store to check out the echelon. The pistol is extremely nice! It's honestly the nicest looking polymer pistol I've seen yet. For some reason I was expecting it to look cheap but I was dead wrong. I'm also surprised how nice it feels in the hands. I have long fingers and the pistol felt great which surprised me because in these videos the grip looks smaller than it actually is! I absolutely loved the slide! As soon as they release a 4" compact version I'm picking it up . The only 2 things I feel like I need to do is replace the trigger and add a magwell. I'm sure there will be tons of aftermarket parts for this thing down the road. It would honestly cost like $400 bucks to get a slide as nice as this one for a glock and an extra $150 to get a glocks lower to match the one on this echelon. People are honestly better off buying this thing over the glock because the only thing that isn't enhanced is the trigger which is easy to replace. You could literally add a magwell and trigger to this thing and be ready for competition because everything else is perfect 😃.
Good stuff! My Echelon should be here tomorrow. Can't wait! Here's a little friendly tip from a guy who did video production professionally for decades... if you can, disable the auto-level on your camera's microphone, or set it to manual instead of automatic. That's whats making your voice audio low right after you shoot, until it normalizes again. Also, in your video editing software, disable your pitch compensator for your slow mo shots. They will sound more like booms than the sci-fi effect sound they have now.
This is a very nice handgun. I have held one and I really like it. However, it is not a Springfield. Maybe Springfield needs someone to make them a double stack 9 mm that will work.
Most websites I've seen list the mag prices at $45.

This is not a Springfield gun. Springfield Armory is only marketing a gun designed and produced by HS Produkt in Croatia.
That was the entire XD lineup also.

Springfield has a lot more influence than that. The entire point of the fcu is to make importing easier.

I believe Apex is designing a trigger for it now.
I hope they make a g19 sized version! I'll be super sad if they release a 3.8 subcompact instead. You're a really good shooter by the way !

I too cannot stand the XDm series of pistols, but i bought the Echelon amd its a fantastic piece!
