hes been so so bad, its mind blowing, southgates biggest failure was not dropping him, captain or not, its cost us the tournament... ANYONE ELSE in that team plays like that in normal play they get dropped, just nothing from him at all, no heart, positioning was diabolical, just unreal

@@anab0liche came in compromised and was a shadow of himself. Watkins had more chances in little cameos then kane had all tournament. How he kept his place in the starting lineup the whole way to a final just highlights the manager’s favouritism. Even his first touch was awful, there was no option for an outball. When watkins came on the last 20 mins today what did spain do? The dropped back there defensive line because there was more danger and pace.
I watch big tournaments in football only . Euro/World Cup. Kane seems like he is old now.. This tournament kane has been really bad. Maybe he's age but 3 years ago he was so good. This tournament seems like he is to old. Ready to retire.

Kane has done well for england over the years but watching him this tournament was like watching a sitting duck, no movement on the ball and off the ball, no motivation to wins balls back, constantly wants everything on a plate, i really feel as if all of our games would of been much different if kane was no longer here.

It amazes me how someone who has delivered the best England results for over 50 years is lambasted and criticised so much. He's got incredibly talented young players at his disposal and future looks promising but what now? In football only winners seem to be considered any good. It's a bit ridiculous.

Gareth Southgate is to blame for Englands loss for not playing the likes of Palmer, Toney and Watkins in the starting line up and bringing Subs on too late on about the 70th minute. Palmer soon equalised only for Spain to score again in the closing minutes. Bad defence by England. When England can have defender's in the league of players like Des Walker and Paul Parker they will not concede crucial goals.

All in all, England has improved a lot in international games...
Yes players, your system and tactical set up is shit. Spain won and convincingly, a much better performance from them throughout the entire tournament. And to think the FA wants him around for another 2 years. England will never win anything under him.
Why can't England play a high press game

England were very lucky to reach the final after one good half against Holland but mostly poor performances in the rest of the tournament.
Southgate is incapable of making them play attacking football
Spain could have thrashed them 4-1 in the final but for Pickford
GS surpassed expectations and fell short by not implementing a style of play that the players are comfortable with and based on the alert we have coming through we need a manager to cultivate that talent with a proper style of play which dominates teams like Spain and Germany did throughout this tournament!
Well Congress a disappointed night for england heartbreak so sad for the team so hopefully will go again next time.

Agree, a lot of focus on PR, big head Bellingham not likeable for me, other than the scissor kick, did FA all tournament. Personally, not playing Gordon was a travesty when he could have ran at defenders down the wing instead we got underperforming Bellingham & Foden
We did well to get to final but at least throw Trent on specially if we getting beat we need a attacking manager not a defensive manager going forward if we want to win a trophy

When a player is unfit or out of form, which is quite natural, it is the duty of the manager to identify that and use his full squad, and Southgate can't use the excuse that he didn't have options. It's so obvious he has favoritism, any child would have known that at least against Spain Kane should not have played at all, definitely not started.

The ‘superstars’ didn’t turn up aka Kane, Foden & Bellingham yet Southgate continued to play them. Throughout the tournament we only looked good when he brought subs on. Today it was too little too late but we did play well in parts. Tbh surprised we got this far playing like we did. Had we been more ambitious starting Watkins, Palmer & Gordon we may have set the tournament on 🔥 alas poor Gordon couldn’t get a look in 😞
