Very interesting (as usual, for your videos, Wayne!). I wonder if you can send the link of this video to the Smartivity company, so that they can redesign this product...
Hi, Donna! Great to hear from you again! I checked out their videos and noticed that they only showed it working in one out of the three videos, and that was only for three seconds with it being cranked very slowly. I think they already know about the problem. I hope all is going well for you and wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Hi Wayne! I stumbled upon your Kenmore washer 22352 video. I am looking to purchase one shortly and two other family members say they love their machine. When yours gets done spinning, if you spin it at the maximum speed. Does your articles come out decently dry? I am seeing the max speed is 660RPM which is slower than my current one. The other models such as the Maytag version spins at 770RPM. I want to get the Maytag version since it is $200 cheaper but I rather have quality than spin speed but also do not want to be restarting the dryer every load…
Sadly, Earthlink was creating so many problems with maintaining the website that after 25 years I was forced to close it out. I miss having it, but the fact is that the vast majority of Internet activity is via cell phone and text based sites don't come across well on them. The number of pages views had dropped to less than one-tenth what it was getting five years ago. But, at least it lives on through its UA-cam videos! Thanks for writing!
So sorry to see that it disappeared. I really enjoyed your website, Mr. Schmidt. Especially the CPS 2000 Mk. 1 repair. Have you ever made your own water gun?
@@wayneschmidt490 I want you to know that I found your bubble recipe and all your tests during Covid. I'm a photographer and I utilized all your information and made bubbles to do a documentary of living on Maui during lockdown. No tourists. Everywhere was empty and I was photographing empty places, but it was a bit boring. I thought, "what would be more absurd than no tourists at all on Maui, than having a huge bubble float thru what once was packed with people." Sort of like tumble weed in a ghost town. I can't tell you how much fun it was to do. We made people happy everywhere we went and I now have a life long love of bubbles. I bring them everywhere. I've even made a business out of it. Thank you Wayne!
After 25 years I was forced to shut down the website just last month. As much as I enjoyed it, problems with Earthlink made it impossible to update it and Earthlink's habit of killing links on the site made it look incomplete. I never finished the best places to live in CA page because I never had the time to travel around enough to visit all the towns needed to complete it. Sorry, but thanks for writing!
@@wayneschmidt490 That's too bad. I enjoy the research that goes into finding the best climate in a livable area. Big quick elevation changes are key for me. Sunny winters and expansive subalpine areas are a must too. Seems like I'll be decideing between the mountains of Southwest Utah or Northern New Mexico.
Hook timing issue ;-) Great video "A Musical Sewing Machine FULL size" I set the link at time stamp 1.27 ua-cam.com/video/y4hNdsyh-yY/v-deo.html Have a great new year to all.

Our clothes seem to come out as dry as any other machine we've ever had. We haven't noticed any longer drier times either.
Oh awesome! Thank you for sharing that video and your response. 😇
Speed queen.
@@uncouthboy8028 You lost me. Are you telling me I was trying to play it too fast?
@@wayneschmidt490Sorry, I was telling the gentleman to get a speed queen dryer. They're the best. It's a shame about the website!
Wayne is there any way to view your old website? I loved all your interesting experiments and interests. Please, please make another one.

@@wayneschmidt490 I too was sad to see the website is down :(. Guess I'll have to find it on the wayback machine from now on.
