    Really cute pouch ideas. If you leave the zippers long, it’s easier to attach the head. Cut the ends after the head is installed.

    A tip for adding the zipper pull. Cut one zipper ends about 3/4 inch and the other 1/2 inch longer than the edge you are attaching it too.First put the pull on the longer end ,move pull to the shorter end . Still a little fiddly but you have more finger room to grab.OOPS The comment below by Linda says it it all but in fewer words. Thank You Karen and Linda.

    A little tip I picked up from google for putting on the zip pull. You use a fork and slip the pro gs into the slide etc. So inexpensive as everyone has a fork. Best of all it worked.

    I love small quick projects, especially bags, pouches, and containers. I just love the one made from a triangle. I do not have any wool felt so I will have to improvise as I want to use what I have.

    Brilliant! I love these pouches. Also, modern wool is probably my favorite fabric and I had no idea you could buy it in rolls! ❤ Would you believe it has never occurred to me to trim a zipper to the exact size I want? And you thought you were just doing a lesson on pouches, didn't you. 😊

    Felt is a super good idea. Easy seams and protection all in one. I just tought of something. I kept some nice thick wool fabric pieces for doing mittins. ( that I won't do ) I can "boil" them to shrink the hell out of them. Might work !?. It's not called boiled wool for nothing.

    Was wondering if you are able to use just one long piece for smaller pads instead of cutting two separate pieces . That way you have on less seam to sew.

      The thicker felt is hard to get a smooth fold out of...and you could not do rounded corners either

    I'm sure you've checked, but I was always taught to keep magnets far far away from any computer/electronic memory that I wanted to keep.

      We are long past magnetic floppies. These small magnets will not hurt today’s electronics

      @@JustGetitDoneQuilts Yes, and good riddance to them! There is, however, a lot of technology that uses some internal magnetic memory. I tend to err on the side of caution, having had more than one incident with magnets affecting credit cards, phones, and yes, my tablet. The newest tech toys are much much better and much less susceptible to magnetic damage, thank goodness. I do love the pouch. I have a couple made of felt, but being unfamiliar with it, have never sewn it. You make it very accessible, thank you.

    Bend a fork and clamp it to your table. Tada you made your own zipper jig. And…..The Felt Store???? Off to check shipping costs to the US.

    It's easier to add the zipper pull before the zipper is trimmed to size.

      Yes. I would keep I big hunk of magnet that they use for treasure hunting away but small ones are fine. My iPad keyboard actually includes magnets

      I thixwnksyou coul use fabric just a few more steps ot you could try vinyl (like a table cloth) they might work

      Acrylic felt. I dont know if it comes in as many thickness. But you can buy it in 8x11 sheets at most craft stores. And as yardage at JoAnns or Hobby Lobby and some quilting shops.

      @@trinam2503 Crafts stores are most probably not wool (expensive ) For added thickness, maybe 2 layers in different colors could be enough and a nice touch.

      @@JustGetitDoneQuilts I have so many friends and family allergic to wool, so I have never used it. I know felt yardage is thicker than the crafting sheets. And I have used it too make gift baskets. Was trying to suggest another option. Good to know the felt wont be as strong as wool. 👍

      Your computer or your tablet IS the pattern, they come in so many different sizes. Add the seam allowance, 1", and check the fit.
      Karen also clearly stated the measurements for the in-ear headphones pouch.
