- This video is the first installment documenting our adventures in Japan during the summer of 2023.
We had an incredible experience in Kyoto, exploring some popular tourist spots as first-time visitors. The weather was so hot and humid but the city was so charming, particularly during the early morning hours. We also stumbled upon a hidden (and true) bamboo forest that was genuinely magical. The Cicadas' sound was incredibly loud and added to the summer atmospheric vibe.
We are grateful for the memories we made together and cannot wait to go back again :)

Brilliant video! My friend and I also found ourselves in that hidden bamboo forest next to inari and the neighbourhood was so peaceful. It was one of the highlights of the trip for me. Glad you got to experience it!

you guys covered alot of Kyoto in just 3 days! We were there 4 days but didn't as much. Maybe my kids were lazy walking.
:D Thanks! Kyoto was our first destination so that helped, by the end of the trip, we didn't do as much either. Maybe we could have done more if it wasn't summer though, the humidity was rough!
