This video is dedicated to a really great horse who has been in our lives since 2022: Opium.
Opium didn't have an easy start as far as my place in his heart is concerned. He came after two horses that were absolute horses.
Such a loss closes the heart on the one hand, but on the other hand there were also unconscious expectations of filling a place.
But SO MUCH has happened since then!
It's very touching to look back on our journey together now... ❤️🔥

Ich bin beeindruckt von seiner Würde und seine wilden Energie. Im respektierten Zusammensein mit dir ist er in der Lage seine Wildheit zu zügeln, damit es für dich nicht gefährlich ist. Unglaublich wozu Pferde bereit sind, wenn sie ihre Würde behalten dürfen. Er scheint im Zusammensein mit dir wachsen zu können, die „Tricks und Drehungen“ zb erscheinen auf den ersten Blick zwar „albern“, aber er kann dadurch seine Wendigkeit, Eleganz und Stärke für alle sichtbar machen. So schön was du ihm ermöglichst🙏🏻

Wunderschönes Pferd - und ich finde gerade seine Energie besonders. Allerdings braucht es da auch absolut jemanden, der mit dieser Energie umgehen kann damit es nicht gefährlich wird. Wie schön dass Opium seine Tanja gefunden hat!

Was mich besonders beeindruckt ist das internationale Echo auf Tanjas Dressur Arbeit! Ich habe selbst ihre Erfahrung und Ausstrahlung erlebt und bin mit Herz und Seele ihr verbunden! Was mir bei deinen Videos immer wieder ins Auge sticht ist, wie unglaublich sportlich und fit du bist. Ich finde das wird häufig unterschätzt. Reiten wird von vielen Menschen betrieben, die eigentlich unsportlich sind. Übergewichtig, oder auch einfach unbeweglich, keine Kondition, keine Muskeln. Um so mit dem Pferd zu arbeiten, wie du das machst, braucht man aber Fitness! Und ich finde man sieht, dass du mit den Pferden eine ganz andere Bindung aufbauen kannst, weil du mit ihnen rennst, weil du unglaublich viel Energie aufbringen kannst. Sehr inspirierend!

Wowww...dieses Video ist soooooo schön geworden 😍✨...wenn man Opium und eure Arbeit heute so sieht,denkt man gar nicht mehr, dass er so war wie er war. Da ist heutzutage so viel Ruhe, Präsenz, Vertrautheit und Präzision...einfach nur wunderschön Euch zu beobachten.

Sometimes it s not love at first sight..... But then when love grows, it s deeper than any love. You are such a natural, you give so much of yourself and the horse starts giving so much back. Opium is an amazingly beautiful horse. I find this one of your most beautiful relationships. As a horse man myself , the harmony you create must be , besides hard work, your God s given talent. The way you both enjoy the journey is incredibly inspiring. You are born for this and . Love all of your posts, it s all you and the horse...esthetically, this again is a masterpiece, and it s such a joy to watch how elegant and positive you come across.... this one, You and Opium is just....more than words can say !! Keep treating us with your moments and experience, they are unique... both of you

unglaublich schönes Video. Ein absolutes Masterpiece von dir. Am besten hat mir der gefallen "kein Pferd wie ich es vorher kannte"!!!!!! Ich denke genau das ist die Möglichkeit das Besondere zu finden. Jedes Pferd ist individuell ... und genau das ist gut so. Du hast (wie immer) den Schlüssel gefunden und hast ihm (wie immer) seinen Charakter gelassen. Genau das lässt solche schönen Bilder entstehen. LG Martin

@@friederikevogelmann5921Hallo, Opium hat sich als Hengst sehr in seinem Privatleben gestresst. Er konnte nur alleine auf die Koppel, da er sehr hengstig war. Auf der Koppel ist er stundenlang am Zaun entlang gerannt und dadurch sehr dünn geworden. Es war keine Option, ihn Hengst zu lassen, auch wenn er in der Arbeit Spaß gemacht hat und ich für mich gerne einen Hengst gehabt hätte. Sein Wohlergehen ging hier vor. Also Bitte nicht urteilen, wenn du die ganze Geschichte nicht kennst :-)

Although I have never owned horses,I have rescued ferrets for many years and something a dear friend told me years back I think applies with your losses and Opium.
Whenever an animal leaves us,it means there is another who needs us.

I have watched literally dozens of videos put out by horse trainers and although many of them do very good work this girl stands out above the rest. s
She connects with horses in a way no other is able to. It's as if she is capable of having a two way conversation with the animal and each is learning what pleases the other. She is truly amazing

Wow, what a nice transformation :) I always dreamed about having a horse. I really wanted to ride, train and learn with it. But slowly I understood, that it's very expensive and my parents won't buy me any. But my love remained and watching this made me want to chase my dreams. Gorgeous horse :D Have a good day!
I'm sorry you didn't get to ride horses because the bond between me and my horses was unbreakable. Please know, when you read this, that I'm not bragging, just sharing my experience to another horse lover. While I had two horses, first Taffy, when I was a young teen and then Holly when I was a few years older, I worked very hard to care for them a two-mile bike ride morning and night each way no matter what the weather was. Also, I worked part-time to contribute to most of their care, I learned about giving love and the rewards of that dedication which taught me valuable lessons of hard work and joy. When Holly went, I turned my love for animals to dogs and cats so I always had a four-legged pet to love. Blessings.

Thank you. I've wondered about Opium and how you met etc...after Indu and Loki. Just a note, it might be helpful, esp. in the part where you say, it's not always love at first sight, to show more of the difficulties & challenges. There's a little of that in the beginning of the video but when you show more of the problems, challenges, then when they work out it feels more satisfying. Otherwise it's basically more of the same over and over. Best wishes!
