Carlotta was doing the perfect dance of pressure on/pressure off. The greatest gift you can give a horse is your time, and she is a blessing of a human being.
The Bible says in John 3:16-36 that whoever believes in the Lord Jesus Christ shall not perish but have everlasting life, the Bible also says in Romans 10:9 that those who declare with their mouth that Jesus Christ is their God, Lord, and Savior they shall be saved. Revelation 1:8 says that Jesus is the alpha and the omega. Luke and revelation is the ending times, and Jesus is returning back. So are you going to submit your life to him or no? Narrow is the path that leads to the gates of heaven, but only few people find it. The gates that is the path to destruction is where many people find it! Jesus loves you SO MUCH! That he died on the cross, and was resurrected from the dead 3 days later to give us eternal life..’znznz
Many years ago I was riding my quiet motorcycle through Wyoming when I saw this beautiful pronghorn out in a pasture. I pulled to a stop at a gate and tool out my camera. They're very skittish so it took some time to get a good picture. When I was done I turned around and saw about 15 horses gathered in the corner of that pasture staring at me. I put my camera away and strolled over there to say hi. Some in the back was straining to look over the rest and see what was going on up front. I reached up to touch the closest one and he seemed like he didn't want to be touched, so I didn't press the issue. So, I stayed there a little longer, talking to them and checking them out. I never grew up around horses and haven't been around them very often, maybe at a state fair, but that's about it. Eventually I had to go, and when I walked back to my bike they watched me all the way. It's one of those riding memories that will be with me forever.
♥️ He really wants to, but he’s still to apprehensive. He just needs some time. Everyone needs company, attention, physical contact and interaction. Even a wild mustang... I could really feel your energy being sweet and open, but not demanding. So good!
SUPER COOL!!! I'M FROM ALASKA AND WE DONT HAVE MANY HORSES UP HERE BUT I'VE ALWAYS DREAMED OF LIVING AROUND HORSES!!! I'M SO JEALOUS OF THIS BEAUTIFUL, SMART WOMAN!!! MANY BLESSINGS!!!
If you know where Carmacks is in the Yukon Territory (Halfway from Whitehorse to Dawson City; Though I do not know where in Alaska you are located) There's a barn there that breeds Horses Just outside of town. If you'd ever want too be around them. The people are very kind. They go too church with my dad.
A cowboy buys a horse from the town pastor. The pastor explains, “To make the horse go, you gotta yell, ‘Thank God!’ And to make it stop, yell, ‘Hallelujah.’” The cowboy rides away. He rides all day and starts to nod off in the saddle when he notices he is about to ride straight over a cliff. Searching his memory, he yells to the horse, “Hallelujah! Hallelujah!” The horse grinds to a stop just at the edge of the cliff. The cowboy wipes the sweat off his forehead. “Phew!” the cowboy sighs. “Thank God!”
Thank you for showing them love and kindness....people do not realize, their brains are bigger, their bodies are bigger. They have so much to teach us. Many blessings to all of you!💗
It's so very beautiful to see more people out there that understand what it is to build a relationship with a horse. It odd to me that more people do not understand the level of respect it takes. You would never force yourself on a person. . . .why do we think it's ok to do that the animals is beyond me?!?
I found one of the best ways to work with nervous and wild horses was to take a chair and book and just sit in the field and read my book. Its amazing what happens. Being quiet around horses helps you get results.
Horse people always impress me because they are such impressive beasts and it takes very special people to bond with them. Either you got it or you dont.
Now *this* for once is a justified use of a selfie stick! It shows the animal's reaction without causing body language pressure. Very interesting to watch.
Wow! It is wonderful to see this video using the freindship/companionship techniques I have been using successfully for decades. Techniques that have almost always gained me quick friendship and trust with friends horses, whom I've never met before. Even with difficult horses with which I was cautioned "be careful, _(name)_ doesnt warm up well to strangers". Surprising them when in a short time their horse and I become close friends. Though I have never dealt with wild horses, the same techniques are borderline miraculous with gentled, unfamiliar horses, even those who dont like strangers. Seeing your video putting those same techniques into practice with wild mustang's warms my heart! Thank you so much for sharing!
I used to work at a dog boarding facility that was family owned, they had 2 ponies there, and the black one really liked me he(or she) kept following me, and sometimes even leaned on my leg to be petted; and even tried pulling on my shirt lol he(or she) was a cute and funny pony
Less is more with horses! Carlotta did amazing using horse language; Pressure release & draw. I also love that she did a voice over on her video instead of talking during the interaction. Well done
Beautiful. Awesome. thank you. God bless your love of our gorgeous horses - brumbies . Much love.🙏🏻👍🏻💖👏🏻🌷😇🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎💙💚💜💞. I grew up with horses. My parents raised Appaloosa's. Love our animals.
Very very useful and informative and interesting video. I love those short clips full of wisdom and teachings. Thank you for sharing and translating to us the wisdom of the horses. In my opinion your videos bring awarness and help us expand in harmony with horses, and connect with them (and to our authentic being) to a deeper level. Thank you again 🙏🏻. Also, I am in love with Cobra, and not just for aesthetics but for who he is and what he brings to this planet. ❤️
I'm so pleased to hear that - I believe that's what the horses want to share. And yes, Cobra's a pretty special guy with enormous gorgeous eyes that see everything!
WOW. She is amazing! No fear just joy, love and respect! Love this channel. You’re work is mind altering. Thank you for showing this You ladies are providing such an inside look at ‘the process’ you go thru and it’s really inspiring. Thank you 🙏 ☺️
I think common sense goes a long way when dealing with shy/aggravated animals. Treat them how you would like to be treated and you will be rewarded with trust.
Now this is true horsemanship! Most people would try to get the horse used to humans by forcing the horse to let them touch them. Which leads to biting and kicking but only for self defense, but then people would label the horses "dangerous" or "unbreakable" when it's really the humans fault. This is how you get wild horses used to humans! I may not have a lot of experience with horses but I know this is the right way.
So Cute! Reminds me of the mare L.O.V. ( Living on Vacation) she is a pocket checker if you had no treats she would untie your boot or shoe laces! ( Thumbs?! Horses do not need thumbs!)
Give me half an hour and a pocket full of good oatmeal cookies and I'd have Cobra eating out of my hands...literally...and accepting respectful petting at least around the neck and shoulders. I guarantee it. A good oatmeal cookie is the fastest way to a horse's heart.
I'm not a horse person. I mean sometimes if I have been singing to much, I can get a little horse, but it goes away on its own, and I don't try to follow it. I don't even know where it goes. OK, since I'm being silly. What does a chicken say when it sees a piece of lettuce? Chicken sees a salad. No, all kidding aside, I was totally mesmerized, not only by the loving interaction between Carla and the horse, but also by the gentle narration of the interaction. Great video for the soul. Thanks for sharing.
Here Cobra is slowly realizing from his own experience that not all humans are bad. A lot of his family and friends may disagree with him and keep telling him to stay away
If I know something about horses, the horse stands next to the horse one step ahead to show him his superiority in the herd. you take dominant positions and they react a little submissive and are a bit interesting. I can also be wrong
Perhaps I'm not sure of myself here and I can see you are very good with horses, but as life long horse owner the last thing we ever do is let any horse put their mouth on us. It can quickly turn to nibbling and then to biting. Glad to have this explained to me.
That is a very handsome Mustang Stallion! He's sniffing her, but I think he doesn't like to be touched because he's been rounded up, and gelded, so he's probably adjusting to being around humans
When you go to th place who the wild horses haven't any predators, they live in group and they always very curious about you...if you seat down Somewhere to draw for exemple they come very close to see what you do...lol i love that, love this wild meeting
I have always been afraid of horses because of their size. After watching many videos about horses I found I just didn’t understand how they think. I am not afraid anymore.
Hopefully he will begin to accept your touch, as it is a major part of a horse's daily life with his herd/friends. But I hope you can be what he needs you to be either way.
he has a really really pretty face, very expressive
Horses are beautiful animals. And badass.
If i will be a hourse, i will do same.

Such a beautiful color..
I think there is a reason why they would call a car a Mustang.. ;-)
There is, it’s to make money. The manufacturers feel the name is attractive and will sell cars. Doh!
