I have been a content writer for 6 years at this point and tbh it has been the most fulfilling job I have ever had coz yes you work on your own term which give you a perfect work life balance but it is also really hard when you're facing a writer's block. So if you want steady money and have good strategies copywriter can be a good option but if you are more creative then definitely go for content writing. I have landed amazing jobs with TTT, Wattpad, RNovels and MoboReader. Just to name a few. I have even worked with Amazon and got my work published as their official kindle reads. So yes super amazing but demanding in the beginning so be aware.

I think what makes it hard to write good copy is that readers are not supposed to notice that they are reading a sales letter. They read sales letters as content pieces. But those content pieces include certain direct response copy elements. So upon finishing a content piece, readers don't start reading the next content piece, but take a specific action the first content piece calls for.

A good editing tip, Do not edit in interlaced resolution for example, edit in 1080p instead of 1080i, then these lines during the motion in the video will be gone

Why does it feel that copyrighting doesn't describe its action. I always thought copyrighting means copy pasting. Are "call to action" and "affiliate" are the same thing as copyrighting?

I was always confused between the two. Thanks for making it so clear! I feel like a lot of times in India especially with smaller companies they just have one content writer who sometimes even manges social media and ends up doing copy writing, what do you feel about that?

Awesome video. You explained in such an unhurried tone.
Some people are good at writing long form, informative articles. Some people are good at writing shorter ad copies. We would suggest the beginners to dabble in both and see what works best for them. Copywriting, of course, pays more. But try to find your strength. Being a good content writer is better than being a bad copywriter.

Helly i have some questions please answer, everyone talks about freelancing and how does it works but no one tells the personal experience like from where they got started, which platform, Which course, how much time, how much they've invested cause at the end we need a whole roadmap! Try googling..and get some experience. Just start doing things that u r already interested in..so that you can find something that brings u money for your values...just start. Noone is a professional when they start..this is something I'm telling to myself tooo. Hope it helps you..

Most of Copywriters are just interested in selling the product and service telling lies and making false promises to earn money and thus I don't like Copywriters as compared to Content Writers who also do the same but to a less extent except when it is related to reviews of high commissions products and/or services.

Agreed. Copy does derive sales. But you can't underestimate the importance of content- it also requires great effort and populates your site.
Both copy and content go hand-in-hand. Hence, both should be equally paid.
