£175?! Geez. I think I’m sitting on the beginnings of a gold mine then 😅 Catching the thread was the most annoying part I did on mine. With new elastomers you really had to compress the fork and hope it stayed aligned. Doesn’t look like they greased them up much prior to selling them did they.
100% going up in price depending on condition mate. The elastomers fitted are light ones so easy to catch the threads , and they definitely need stiffer ones. The elastomers were so dry and not as clean as expected but not bad at all for the price. Will upgrade when we find a bike for them. Just looked at your channel and found your video, so I will give it a watch later, mate 👍
Alot of the retro forks are super easy mate and no special tools generally needed 👌 the new ones however 😀 need loads of different tools and oils for them. All the best mate from Nottingham UK mate 👍
Mate, the orange is looking sweet. Can not wait to get my hands on it. Also, I'm super happy about the condition of the forks. However, I think we are going to fit with fresh new, stiffer elastomers 👍
@Ptrmrkks spoke to my friend today, and he has ordered some for his weight as the original ones are a little soft. The guy one eBay makes them to fork speck 👍 thanks for having a look and dropping me some advice, mate. Appreciate it 👍
@GreenFingerHandyman yes they are supposed to be like that, mate. Check out the video 3 bike farthers Day special video. The orange had a set on, and so you will get a clear idea of them great forks. My mate saw them and wanted a set. Hence, this video 👍

Nice work. I didn’t realize that a suspension fork could be this simple.
All the best from Lake Erie my friend.

They look amazing, just a question: Are they backwards fork as I noticed the wheel tabs look the wrong way round?
