Love the embroidery ❤ Those are called Single Welt Pockets, a Double Welt has a flap on either side that meets in the middle usually used in men’s tailoring
Everything you make is beautiful. The embroidery is to die for, and the hem detail is the perfect finish! Your apartment is looking great; take your time putting it together. Looking forward to next week. xoxo's Sandie
I love airy pants. So glad you made this one! I also liked seeing how the embroidery machine works. If you feature it more often, I might be convinced to get one myself 🤣
Flap pocket is a welted pocket with a large flap the covers the welt (the little rectangular piece) that are commonly seen on suit jackets. I believe the welt pocket is also called a jetted pocket in high end bespoke suiting
Very nice pants❤ And the pocket is definitely a welt pocket. At 6:32 you talk about a flap, but that is actually the piece called welt. Looking forward to seeing the whole outfit 😊
I am not really sure if I missed it, but did you mention which kind of fabric you're using? It's always nice to know that to have an understanding how the pattern looks with a certain kind of fabric and also imagine how it might look with a different kind:)
The welt pocket are the same you have in a pants very little in the back.. many time double 2 pieces,In your trench I think are the flat pocket ..more big ❤❤
When measuring the elastic around your waist are you pulling on it at all? Also, when stitching down the middle so that the elastic doesn't flip within the pant are you pulling on the elastic? (Basically, how do you make sure that the bunching that occurs with that is evenly spaced between the fabric and the band) You make this look so easy >__< Also I have NEVER seen a machine that projects the image onto the object before sewing. Crazy cool stuff!!!!

It’s a very flowy rayon fabric. I’m not sure of the specific name though!
congrats on appearing in burda style!
The trousers are just stunning. Can I ask which machine you're using? I am thinking of buying a sewing and embroidery machine in one. Thanks!
Lovely embrodery❤
where is the fabric pen from? it looks so much more precise compared to the ones I find in fabric stores in Germany

They were welt pockets. Flap pockets have a separate flap covering the opening of the pocket
