Love this! Thank you for posting this video! Born in LA in the 60’s we first lived on New Hampshire then moved to kenmore both times between Sunset and Hollywood . I know it’s changed so much but it’s still my home in my heart, back then we had great neighbors and the mix of cultures and food was amazing! I go back as often as I can. There was a building across from the yellow building (Hollywood/sunset) that used to be in ice cream parlor called Johnny seashells owned buy a Polynesian family. They were the best! Are they building apts on the Hollywood/kenmore corner? Sadly Kaiser has taken up much of one side of the neighborhood for a parking garage, I was heart broken to see it. All the houses and apartments gone 💔. I spend my childhood mostly on Kenmore, I’m still friends with many of the other kids who grew up there during the same time. You walked right by our bungalow apts! Couldn’t see them cuz you looked at the school/church we lived in the apts directly across from the school/church. I did get to see the apt fence though. Silly but exciting. I loved this neighborhood soooo much!
