Theoretically it should be possible by giving the driver the soldier instead of the vehicle path finding filter. Never tested it so far. But i guess it would lead to vehicles getting stuck in all sorts of vegetation/environment objects.
@@InterfectorII Question is do you want the AI to behave realistic / like irl or like a player? I'd rather have them behave realistic. Maybe different patterns for different situations: relaxed - stick to roads and pathways alert/search pattern - line or echelon formation also through bushes under fire - definitely ignore roads, use concealment and take cover in bushes and behind trees.
Can you keep the ai from moving. I have issues with them wandering where ever they want to. I want to be able to put them in a bunker and "freeze" them so they don't move. Is that possible with this mod?
It's to bad you couldn't add something for pilots to actually beable to fly helicopters and such 😅 only bohemia would disregard AI flying on a game that's not PC only 😂😅 great work very nice to see indeed

@ I meant the foot soldiers. They also seem to prefer roads. I mean it is realistic but it is not what a player would do.

Wouldnt it make more sense to split the groups into individual squads similar to arma 3?
Groups and fireteams are pretty much the only thing the game has to offer so far.
So for now i just use them to avoid additional coding.

Yes there are a couple ways to make them stay at a specific position.

Making stuff work with A.I. and land vehicles already pretty much pushing my limits.
