TODAY I'M BUYING A DRESS FROM A THRIFT STORE AND GIVING IT A DIY MAKEOVER - BROKE BITCH STYLE!
I love doing things on a budget and I love being creative, and since my Prom dress makeover was such a success, I thought I would recreate my own little do-it-yourself version and show you how to make your own wedding dress cheap, easy, and fabulously! :P (and since I don't have a boyfriend and am perpetually single, I figured it would be extra funny lol)
so here is me, DIY-ing a wedding dress...weird vlog tutorial style.

She actually inspired me to make mine! I still haven't started on it yet because for the longest time, I didn't have the money to just put towards it but I've recently started buying the supplies and I am so excited. $1,000 is considered cheap for wedding dresses but mine will be no more than $300 and right now I'm at $212 total but who knows if I'll need extra of something or not, until I start actually making it. Like, less than $300 for a custom wedding dress? That's a great deal and I am hyped.

@@thegirlwhocriedcat2062 Not as much to update as I would like to give. The last thing that I ordered, I think has been put on a halt for shipping because of everything that's going on. And with my luck, it's the thing I need to do very first on my dress 😂 Wish it had come so I could spend my time doing that but I'm just waiting still. Which is all fine because I'm not in a rush. But yeah, everything else I have, is exactly what I wanted and I hope I'm able to do it justice. We shall see. I'm still really excited though.

What's even worse is that I actually bought this to do my own clothing hacks, but I found out it's extremely toxic and SHOULD NOT be used on clothing. It's known to actually cause cancer too

I wish she would add the total cost of her creations. like how much was the dress+jewels+glue etc
This might not help much but E6000 of that size usually goes for no less than 3 bucks. So I think it's safe to say that AT LEAST $9 was added. And if you REALLY wanted to know as much as possible you could search the tulle overlay on Amazon. But that's just too much work for a viewer to do to find information that should already be presented. She added stuff so obviously the overall cost of the dress was not $8.49 (or 8 bucks as she says).

Being a dress maker, just on a guesstimate...... the amount appliqué used $600-$700. I browsed the link. Even if they were in his scrap bin for discount $2-$300..AWSOME up cycle of a thrifted dress and wonderfully creative for a fabulous stage play or cosplay dress. Good job-it lols great, it would have been more informative to list the cost of the crystals... to promote business to your “crystal dealer.”🤗

Girl, you saved me. I am wanting something cheap for my wedding soon and this is too perfect. This really gets my creative thinking going and would love to personally thank you. I thought about making my own dress but it require so much sewing and the measurements but now I can find the perfect top part of the dress and just add a poofy bottom and glue on some bling.

I can't believe it. I just started this project and was looking up how to attach rhinestones and your video came up, and it's almmst exactly what I was trying to do but done better!! Finding this before I started making any permanent changes to any of my meterials was such a blessing!

those appliques are expensive. I made my own prom dress and my sister’s figure skating dresses. But its still alot cheaper than buying a dress.

It’s very expensive. Those pieces cost about $25 a piece. I’m sure she gets a discount but for us in real life we will spends real coins. However this is way cheaper than a wedding dress that has less sparkle.
