That Triumph Spitfire design is very nice. Here in mainland Europe they go for over 10 thousand euros all of them pretty much. Here in Romania there is currently one for sale at 12000 euros. Decent price for a classic car, in my vision. You do not see many british classic cars here. Rare as hen's teeth.
The Sweeney Bronze Ford Consul GT has been restored and has appeared at various classic car shows recently. Also the Silver MK2 Granada that appeared in the last series of the Sweeney has also been shown recently
Hi. I was watching The Fourth Protocol the other night and there are loads of FoMoCo vehicles in there which could well be still around. Decent film too and it’s available on UA-cam
Glad to see you back buddy, after the bluebird incident, I saw the second video had been taken down as well now, it’s a bit pathetic by them really isn’t it? Anyway on upwards and wishing you more success with future content!
I think I saw the guy Mike bought the Land rover from in some footage from an auto jamboree in one of the latest seasons. Maybe have been the MGB where the seller was featured a 2nd time. I'm not sure about that detail though.
Another great vid, I remember seeing yellow paint under the green when the diff was taken out in the show, I’m not a fan of colour changes but to be fair it looks pretty good 👍
Good stuff did you have more bother with your Blue Bird video as I think you replied a comment of mine but then I couldn’t find it might just be me that’s missing something though 👍
Great outcome at last! There had to be at least one of the WD cars still in use. Another bit of proof as to how much of WD is faked. on the subject of TV car shows, I'll throw this one into the ether and see if anyone agrees. I have started watching the latest series of Car SOS, which I used to think was the best of the bunch of shows. However, I feel that UA-cam has killed it for me. I am only really interested about the work done on the cars, I am not a bit interested in the sob story, faked parts blagging and presenters riding round in similar cars. So in essence, the new Car SOS programme is about 15 minutes long as far as I am concerned. It's also fairly obvious that Fuzz and Dave Tassell may have had a fall out, because it is no longer the original workshop but an inferior one, and not the original team either with the exception of old workshop Phil. The major plus of YT is that we can all choose what we want to watch and have great control over the content. I subscribe to the YT Premium, as YT had picked up on my ad blocker and was getting threatening, but, for me. the cost is money well spent to be ad-free.
It seems to be a cycle of these shows that as they become more successful the 'techy' side of the programme seems to get diluted - I believe this is why Edd China left - but I guess its to make appeal to a wider audience?
Wheeler Dealers always lied about how much they spent on each car. It was always understated in order to make it look like they made a profit, when usually they didn't. By the way, the plural of Pound is "POUNDS", not "pound"!
I did look into it but the plate was moved around various non TV demonstrators. The car used in filming was exported to Australia and written off. Believe the plate is still owned by Caterham. More info here. www.theunmutual.co.uk/lotus7.htm
Off topic but, find it fix it flog it. I you watch some of Henry Coles programmes, theres a lot of stuff in his shed that was supposed to have beed sold!
So the buyer in the show wasn't real and it was given to a member of the production crew? colour me shocked.....Mike swears blind on every podcast that'll take him that each and every hand shake he does on camera "is real" or he might be just talking out of his backside (again)
There was a video doing the rounds a while back about the spitfire, about how wheeler dealers had badly bodged the bumpers?, before having them re-chromed, can't remember much of the content.
Yes you, sometimes, don't find cars. But you try... and you make these videos. Both of which is very much appreciated. Thank you! Please keep it up!
Thanks!
Great results there, good to see the triumph has found a good home.well done, much appreciate ypur detective abilities.

Brilliant Oscar, a nice update on these two cars. More please😊😊😊
Thanks! Will do!
Great update video. Love to hear the stories and the happy new owners 👍

Hi Oscar so glad the spitfire had a happy ending. I have owned my MK3 1970 Spitfire for 26 years now.

Thanks, will do!
Superb!! I loved your video on the James Bond Lotus's.
Glad you enjoyed it!

The roll bar on the yellow 109 was from my 80" Land Rover. I was friends with one of the production company and he bought it from me.
Wow - small world!
the white lotus esprit ended up in holland (left uk on a trailer with lots of the bits in the back of the tow car )
Thanks mate.
No worries!
You can't forget that yellow Land Rover good to see its still around and that Triumph Spitfire that is a very nice sports car
Hi Oscar, How about the cars from The Sweeney?, would love to know how many of the Granada's and consuls have survived
Its on our list and getting close to the top...
The bronze granada/ consul exists there was a resto blog years ago by a guy I think went by the name of Mr shifter
@@andrewmeadows2596the 3 litre v6 brown one that was in the intros of the sweeney is still around

Nice that you've tracked these two down. Nevertheless, your videos are interesting even when the search results draw a blank.
Glad you like them!
You can't believe everything you see on TV.... especially with Mike Brewer😅😂😂😂 Eee'saa Wheela Deela Geezaa...😉😇😊😂😂😂
Hi. I was watching The Fourth Protocol the other night and there are loads of FoMoCo vehicles in there which could well be still around. Decent film too and it’s available on UA-cam
What happened to the last bluebird video? I'm guessing UA-cam didn't like that one either.
🤔 UA-cam do not like to see anyone having any fun . As soon as they see it , they put a stop 🛑 it immediately !...
i had a spitfire back in the 80s... :) what bag of nails that was lol
Another good video 🚗🚙🚘👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
Thanks 👍
What happened to the xjc thanks in advance

Good spot, will keep it in mind.

I do love a happy ending
What about the cars mark mcmannus drove in taggart
I'll add it to the (long) list, but I wouldn't be too optimistic they are still about...
Good stuff did you have more bother with your Blue Bird video as I think you replied a comment of mine but then I couldn’t find it might just be me that’s missing something though 👍
It's down at the moment but will return as an improved version.
I've always wondered what happened from the car from . The gaffer .
No longer on DVLA so probably scrapped (EHL659L).

How about having a crack at No 6's Lotus KAR120C from the TV series 'The Prisoner'..

There was a bad Bach of the webber DCOE in fact that stopped production of them at one point because of this

Thought with that reg it would belong to Nigel Farage
You can see why someone would choose to remove it
