Jacob from Diamond C is so calm and collected about his products. He isn't telling you to sell you, he's telling you to educated you, which will make you buy it. I really appreciate his techniques.
Through Tow Piglet and another guy out of California who documented the reason he went to Texas to buy a Diamond ♦️ C trailer was what sold me about the quality and lighter trailer vs the ole heavy design that cost ya weight and fuel .
Sam from V-Belt & Son's has 3-4 Diamond C trailers he's purchased in the past 2-1/2 years. Previously he used Texas Pride. After see Diamond C trailers, he's switched over.
I want a Diamond C trailer because of Stan's video of going to the plant and talking with Jacob. I don't have much if a need, but I still want to support them.
This Diamond C guy really knows his "sheet". Very well prepared for working the floor, what a resource Diamond C is extremly fortunate to have him representing their product lineup.
Well, he is part owner of the company, started in sales then marketing.. and is now the Exec VP of Marketing….. i hope he knows his family’s business and products!
Good to see industry catching up to us fabricators! I built drive over fenders and extensions 5 years ago to haul mud trucks! Thanks for all the info!!
I have a one way only entrance / exit for the double J type hooks that I have been using for decades. It is funny as all he** watching people trying to unhook them. I also use receiver tubing for stake pockets for accessories and tooling attachment points.
Thanks for getting us in the show Stan. Out of all your videos I enjoy these types of the most. Your inquisitive attitude backed by your industry knowledge totally makes it. The Diamond C trailer ! Aww Man ! Anxiously waiting the rest of the series. Thanks again
I'm a reseller, I buy pallets by the dozens. Right now i have a modified junk trailer. I have been looking for Diamond's Max width package goose neck. That is 100% what I been looking for. Low profile for forklifts to load pallets and wide enough to get them side by side comfortably. Sometimes pallets are overburdened and need extra room. AND it's big enough I can drive the fork lift ONTO it if needed. I was worried I was going to have to try to make one myself, which may not have been a good idea. Diamond C, yall saved me. I have not pulled a gooseneck before but it's my intention to go to it.
Diamond C has been killing it lately, especially among the content creators. I've seen a ton of content on youtube on Diamond C. But their products look awesome too though.
Trailers got some nifty engineering. That’s a heck of a sales rep, speaks of the innovations and features like the builder. Them things look sturdy and world class quality. I built a split single axle hauler a few years ago and used a valved hydraulic ram to gravity assist. Stainless sleeved 3 inch cylinder hinges with zerk fittings. You can sure make your pull enjoyable with one of them tails.
Nice video. I have never had a reason to own a trailer but have always been interested in them. They are like classic cars with 2021 technology. Thanks for sharing.
@@Dirtmonkey That first company is really showing off some cool innovation....love seeing this..just makes all trailer brands better. BTW, I'm up on the Iron Range.. had our first snow the other day
Hi Stan, I'm guessing the Diamond C trailers are pretty pricey, but they have a lot of features and details that no other manufacturer has. They seem very well, engineered. Plus they also look really cool! I will definitely look twice at them before I ever purchase another trailer! Thanks for a whole video dedicated to them.
I am going to Kaufman Trailer’s they’re out of North Carolina the owner of Kaufman actually purchased hallmark trailers they make a boatload and they keep the price is as low as they can and quality is way up
@@steveanderson4768 I bought a Kauffman and really liked it and yes the factory allowed changes... I do not think their steel is the best but it served its purpose fine. Had to sell it when housing market crashed to keep up with my payments. I still have a Bri Mar dump that I use allot but again the steel? I know the paint is crap and rusts to beat hell.
I’m at the beginning of the video and I really like the green trailer with the wider bed. As I plan to start my business may of 2022 doing dirt work. I’m looking at so many trailers. My old 8’ by 14’ dump trailer has been great to me for over 7 years now but I plan on needing a longer trailer for all my implements and bobcat.
Great Video. Jacob was very informative and could really educate someone on their trailers. And grade 100 steel, WHAT??? I like how you bring these shows to your viewers who can't attend or even know about the shows. I just saw you myself at the NHS a couple of weeks ago in Las Vegas while my wife and I were trying to promote our root cutting tool "The B'root Bar". Because of you, I learned about the NHS.I also like how you show different projects and the real problems and solutions that we as contractors have to deal with. I look forward to more of your videos and who knows, maybe I'll see you at another tool show.
This is why I went with a diamond C LPT 16 dump trailer. Lower deck height, integrated roll tarp and the ramps store in the bottom and not on top of the fenders like so many others.
Damn I wish I can get one of those dump trailers. They are nice and save time and money. Saving up to get one for sure. Gotta start small and work your way up. Great video!!
Stan I never pulled a trailer in my life, but I pulled steel skids loaded with transformers and long hole drilling rig with 9 yard Sandvik scoop trams that bounced off the walls while traveling down spiral underground declines. It's cool to see all that's new in trailers that I never knew that existed, I will be watching it all, thanks!
Yeah forsure, i was thinking the same for a bumper hitch aluminum trailer. I would definitely bw interested to see how they engineer them if they started producing them.
I do lawn care and landscaping in MN/ND. I bought a shocker hitch solely of off others testimonials. I will never not use a suspension hitch from now one. It was not cheap especially compared to other options I could have bought from a hardware store. But in my opinion worth every penny, very simple and works fantastic.
I absolutely love the diamond c products. Was a little out of my price range recently bought a big tex 16 lx. If you get a chance stop by there both and see how you feel about the product they supply
NATDA - North American Trailer Dealers Association - Went to their show in Indianapolis. Good show for actual trailer dealers since it covers trailers and parts of all type from flatbed, utility, cargo, stock and horse trailers.
Can you ask Diamond C if they plan on upgrading the super weak charging capacity of that hydraulic dovetail trailer. You shouldn’t have to plug them in to maintain the battery if you use it almost every day, we run a 30’ goose
Well its not a "charging" circuit. It does not "push" electricity into the trailer battery. That circuit is ment to maintain a small break away battery and run interior lights and such. Not to keep a group 37 size battery or deep cycle battery charged. To be honest, if you use you your hydraulics with a low battery and plugged into the truck, that fuse is prolly blown. Those hyd unit can pull over 100 amps when under load. Your "charge" circuit is a 30 amp. Your best bet is to add a warn winch plug to your truck and trailer and run it that way.
I wonder if that new Kush air ride is re engineered. Diamond C purchased back my fmax216 because the trailer would not drive straight. I believe it had to do with the ridewell air suspension and the leveling valve design. I have not heard back as to what the issue was or why they really bought the trailer back. It was 40,000 lb rated just like the one in the video. It is good to see they are improving

That dude knows his stuff! What a competent company rep. Best one you’ve had in a long time. Never stuttered and knew his product! Kudos, Jacob!
Jacob owns the company with his family. He grew up at the manufacturing plant. His dad started the company. Its pretty much all he has ever done
😎

Very cool👊. I try to learn something new when ever possible
THIS is 1 of the reasons I love your channel! Love the trade show walk thru. Looking forward to the rest of the show!
Very cool! Glad for the feedback.
Wow! Jacob passing on all this knowledge and introduction and implementation of new technology into these trailers is amazing!
Shocker hitches are awesome... I was reluctant to get one because of the cost but so glad I did, wish I had done it earlier.
I don't blame ya. if you haven't seen it tested its hard to spend money on it.
That last dump trailer looked amazing

This was a good informative show Stan. Well done and thanks again
Glad you enjoyed it
Tons of outstanding Info, I always learn something new watching your vids.
Awesome, thank you!
That "Shocker" hitch is similar to several RV airbag hitches. They WORK !
Very cool.. and great colors, that green is Sick...The all in 1 air on the trailer would be a game changer.
Cush Corp guys are awesome people. Cool to see you guys chatting about one of their suspensions!
Jacob was pretty excited about it.
