You all asked for an Endless mode 5 skull guide, well here it is! I will show you how to 5 skull every single one! That is my main goal with these, not high waves/highscores. If those happen as well, fine but the main goal is to help you guys/gals get your 5 skulls! Enjoy!

I love this game.
ive been trying for ages to reach wave 40 and finding the perfect setup, you sir have the best setup ive seen on this map :P

For those interested, I tried this one with the Sorceress.
Used all the exact items except replaced the tar pits with ice vents.
Got a bit further as Fryedegg so the vents work too ( used more brimstone though )
It helps against the Gnolls to put some ice/tars & brimstones near the bridge and if you see Gnolls are coming, just wait 'm up at the Bridge and kill 'm with the help of those few traps. I liked this killbox so thanks for the video :D

i cant creat combo trap good as you,but i use mushroom or teleport trap,that help me rush to 5 skull too
Tunnels is actualy pretty easy. At the 4th try I got 5 skulls. But at wave 35 it just got hard as nothing else. You have to love that game,LOVE IT!
I use archers with similar strategy. They can really snipe enemies while they are stuck in the maze. I also use grinders and arrowwalls, but those pushwalls in the ceiling are a nice touch I haven't thought about yet :)
ah ok thanks for your explanations, I didn't know that the orcs could hit the baricade while they are hitting the paladins, it make sense to not use them, I understood the best way to use the paladins on your video for skull farming

Nice to come back and watch these videos again, I wonder though, would swinging maces perhaps be better than pounders considering the extra damage and the fact they're always in motion?
I tried the same setup you had using the sorceress with some slight changes. I took the acid sprayers with slow, spike traps with slow, and the healing trinket with increased passive regeneration. The right hall was completely lined with brimstone & sprayers. I was able to get to level 40 but not much farther after getting lazy & getting killed by gnolls one time too many.
not bad. Voidwalls are something I like for endless modes now. Very powerful. After round 40 it's always rough too.
you must beat the game on warmage mode and you unlock double jump, when you beat it with the Sorceress you unlock feather fall.
The idea and strategy is so good as they are on all of your videos, how do you think of them!
Dart Spitters could work as long as you don't have the charm option enabled. When a enemy becomes charmed, it will be attacked and when that charmed enemy is standing near a barricade, the barricade will be destroyed.

It took me a while to adjust to not having to "spam-click" fire for the crossbow. That was how you had to do it in OMD1. In OMD2 though just holding down the button for "auto-fire" is jsut as fast as if you spam click. So no reason to spam click. So some of my vids for the 1st few weeks of release are very clicky because its hard to break old habits! =p
I was able to get to wave 40 with bomb barrel dispensers. Was pretty awesome.

I got to wave 74 on this map, screwed up in the end because I got sloppy/bored. Trapps/skills: Stone Staff(Req Family Ties), Scavenger Trinket, Trap Reset, Tar, Floor Scorcher, Arrow Wall, Dart Spitter(Req fire and Water), Autoballista, Spore Mushrooms and Floor Portal(Req Fire and Water). Start by placing Tar odd rows Scorchers even rows then ballistas, in the back of the main room. when you are at about lvl 35 put up shrooms in back of the upper room and portal near the exit.
I would have probably used the arrow traps a bit less on the right side since they do have a bit of a knock-back, or at least set them up after getting a final defense thing in-front of the bridge incase things fall off. I would probably have tried to funnel down the other side a little as well, replace one or two arrow traps with grinders so you effectively have two different kill-boxes/lanes.
I use one killbox per lane : haymakers/tar/scorchers near the rifts : one small killbox just before the bridge ; the bridge is mazed and covered with teleport thingies.I use the missile launcher and the stone staff to buy me some time in cas of gnoll frenzies. Got me as far as wave 51 ont the first try, jumped off the bridge out of sheer boredom...

I have my graphics jacked ALL the way up, are yours? Also, appearences can change somewhat with certain upgrades, but most likely graphics settings are different. If yours are turned down you get less textures.
i found a little glitch you will need the cross bow and a floor trap you hold down the shoot button then you hit the floor which ever number it is and switch back to the cross bow and it will spray without you hitting any buttons.
How do do a double jump, i only know how to jump once ( Im new at this game ).
What if you set up a second killbox under the stairs for the hunters? the top one seemed to be able to handle itself pretty good
putting the ballistas above the stairs gives them a way better angle at al the orcs i think

So upgrading can change appearance? Also my Orc Slayer skin looks different than other people's , doesnt have the metallic parts

How do you zoom
I reached the same level yesterday using completely different set of traps, no barricades, and a maximum number of archers.
Archers are OP! =p Naaa, but they are very good at killing bad guys.
really hard monsters don't spawn early on but i start getting trolls on wave 4
THe physics of the swinging mace hurt it. It throws mobs where you dont want them. =(
What are you supposed to do about the guys who explode? They always destroy my barricades

I camped by the gates and made a maze held out past round 40 thats another good spot
I have noticed the date this was uploaded, but if I was to do this tactic should I use the Dart spitters instead of the pounders?

Paladins are great for some situations but most of my setups they actually hurt your score/killbox. Having them close to barricades will cause the mobs to hit the barricades and break them, which is bad. The paladins are also notorious for engaging enemies away from the kill box, thus making all your traps do nothing until the paladin dies. Thats the answer in a nutshell. =D
no need to feel stupid sir. I have been killing ORcs for many moons! Takes time to formulate optimal strats/setups!
I never, EVER, seem to get Headshots with the Crossbow... even when I'm hitting the enemy right in the head. Maybe I do and I just don't notice... does the Crossbow give lots of Mana for headshots? And it's soooo weeeaaakk... I've maxed out the damage too

hey, I don't understand why you would not use guardians even at long range:
in your others videos you use archers and dwarfs, but never paladins in regulars maps, has it because they die in the battlefield as they have to hit at close range ? because when they hit the orcs, the orcs are getting hit by the traps and get occupied by killing the paladin.
and also if they die, you can use the object (I don't remember the name) that bring back to life all the guardians on the maps
or you just hold a button to shoot... insanely hard, right?

Now I know that you can zoom with Crossbow after watching this video. Are there any other weapons you can zoom in with?
***** Actually there is, Sorceress can zoom in with Dwarven Rocket Launcher thingy as I've accidentally learnt(was zoomed in with Crossbow, switched to Launcher and was still zoomed in then I tried and was able to zoom in and out).

Brian Glhok I honestly am not sure as I haven't played Orcs in forever but try clicking on mouse wheel, if it doesn't work Google. I've found the answer by Googling anyways.

+yjrasfsx If you are on the barricades they will attack them in attempt to attack you. Archers are extremely annoying simply because they will attempt to shoot you from a long range and if you go back they will shoot the barricades instead. Get the regen bonus on barricades so they endure the earlyer waves
They will also attack them if there is no way to get passed them so that might also be it

probably not mutch sense to headshot with fire but with mana add, headshots > rapid fire

my biggest problem is kobold runners with boom barrels they always destroy my baricades ;_;
tars do slow. The warmage can put down whatever else you want instead. =D

IMO instead of ceiling pounders or however they are called u COULD use swinging maces (i know you said in the video that they can't fit, but they can,you just need to rotate them), Its just a matter of preference really... :D
