- I decided to give this a shot because as far as I know no one has got 1000 waves. so I figured why not instead of just doing a "high wave" video. Took a long time, but I got it. I think this is the only map really possible to do this though.
Here is the list of trap with upgrades that I used all normal upgrades should be fully upgraded to level 3.

Crossbow - Headshots deal extra damage & generate mana
Wind Belt - Increased Range & Picked up enemies take damage
Ice Amulet - Addictional ice projectiles & Enemies take additional damage
Scavenger Trinket - Both Specials
Mana Rage - Both Specials
Spring Trap - Cost reduced to 450 & Flips heavier enemies
Spore Mushrooms - Extra Health & Reset Faster
Push Trap - Reset time reduced & Range Increased
Tar Trap - Cost reduced to 300 & Slowed even more
Healing Trinket - Both Specials

This is a new comment some 6.5 years after this video was made. I will answer some questions before that should also reply to many comments.
Q) Did you cheat?
A) No I actually did this over the course of 2 days though a lot of it left the game running by itself.
Q) Muted
A) Yes back when I did this video I had a pretty crappy mic/setup. I now have a much better mic and a mixer. This also has made me sound a little less "monotone" and boring. though just from growing since this I have learned to be a bit more animated in how I talk as well.
Q) - Anything relating to Orcs Must Die -
A) Unfortunately I haven't played in a long time and no longer have the strategies or anything memorized as far as game mechanics.
I have since redone my channel and have improved in many ways. I hope you check out some of my newer content.

since you're a old OMD2 player, do you have or know any one who has it? (if i got my info right you need to play with some one who has it or something along those lines to get it) and on a side not, im glad you didnt delete this video :D it made me try and try and try to do endless mode :D cheers!

when you have mods enabled you'll see "mods enabled" in the top right corner, so he did it legit!

the only problem I ever have with endless... would be Earth Lords. Esspecially past wave 40-50, earth lords just ignore traps, instantly going towards the spores, wherever they tunnel. And at some point they will die to other mobs, then the earth elements die again, etc etc, which screws up most of your sporetraps. And trap reset trinket wont be effective once you're overrun.

Same. I came for some Orcs Must Die 2 gameplay and witnessed a combination of what looked like dedication and sounded like pure exhaustion and tiredness. He said he slept but idk.
use the secondary of wind belt to retrieve coins at a distance or where you cant reach.

This is great. As the sorceress though I'm having trouble dealing with the kobolds. The push traps can't get them so I'm having to use brimstone. Any ideas? Freeze trap could maybe work but is a bit costly.

It;s a great setup , I changed the order a bit but it works great
I got to wave 105 of endless "Tower" before just giving up from boredom. the 3 swinging maces take care of all the little enemies, trap reset trinket and mushrooms.

This strategy is AWESOME, but I can't figure out the best way to handle Earth Lords. The problem is that they're superheavy so don't get pushed/sprung, and when they reach the spores it seems like they get unspored every time they lose a layer, so if multiple earth lords reach the end all at once they use up all your spores in the infighting. Any tips?
What will you recommend for Co-op game ? which 6 items?
not even kidding. I would never have thought using push traps would be so effective. it's quite a simple tactic and I can't believe I never thought of it

11 Million by wave 59 is very much do-able IF you rack up a good combo on every single kill (8 or as high as 9). this however, is extremely hard to do on this course but like I said - it is do-able. But anyway, well played, Sir! I enjoyed watching this and I'm gonna try this out myself - with some minor tweaks here and there :)

If you place steamtraps under the pushers you can place more pushers on top of eachother? Would that work?

Awesome, I used the scorceress so instead of tar I used floor spikes with snare and forgot to get the windbelt for refilling life. I died on wave 26 from being careless. The tar looks FAR more effective, since suicide sappers easily make it to me every time, along with lots of small orcs and kobalt runners. Also, I can't believe how much more powerful freeze+headshot is with the "Headshots deal extra damage" compared to the first OMD freeze+headshot.

I'm surprised you didn't just "AFK" until you lost since you wouldn't have to start the waves anymore, just to see how far it would go, however, the game could crash at any moment, so by dying on purpose, you locked in your score/wave/skulls. Thanks for the awesome video.

Aiming the wind belt at the coins(in range, right click) pulls them to you. Excellent strategy though, I'll try it after work. :)

My friend and I did Tower and we had to just call the game because we were playing so long, we got it setup so no enemies could get through but they also never died just kept teleporting back to the start in a loop.

You are a PRO, how long did it take to unlock all the set up?
I woulda, just for funzies, covered the side passages with springs facing the abyss. That's the passages right next to the wooden bridge that leads to the exit.
I thought the same thing back in the day when I played this. I didn't get nearly as far as you did.
actually in omd2 if u had time u can do that forever with some particular traps such as portal trap mana well polymorph ring black hole trap which i cant assure its name

Im trying to do this but I always lose to the earthlords. Whst can I do against them?
After reading your description I wanted to let you know this is entirely possible on other maps , hit 500+ in 9 hours on stairs of doom and the tower , I think this is possible on every map with the correct traps and set up.

around wave 25 or so there comes a lot of earth elementals. What to do? They split into 1000s :)
When the doom music kicks in but you're in the wrong game
i find it helps to keep trolls alive and convert them with shrooms, cuz they regen health, therefore they can be effective guardians for multiple rounds, also hiding an archer behind shrooms can make gnoll hunters turn before they do any damage.
Tho im no pro or anything so i dunno if my tactics are good.
guardians can't be used for lategame endless and it doesn't matter what you convert with shrooms ( as far as bigger enemies go ) because they'll all be as useless as each other

I used to be Ranked 13 on this, but then somebody made a tutorial and everybody knew the secret that others discovered by themselves... o well.
I know you uploaded this 3 years ago but I think I found a good use for that 10th slot (instead of healing trinket). Bring a void wall instead, and on some sections of the tar/spring trap sections, put a void wall on the wall and point the springs into that instead of the gap in the middle. This creates coins worth 100, even when the orcs are only worth 1 or 2, compared to scavenger trinket or coinforge which would make the orc worth 2 instead of 1 - not that useful. This means you can keep earning money in later levels and get all of your spore traps set up much much earlier.

I picked up the game again. The "Crossfire" map also allows for pretty much infinite waves (provided you have the teleporter trap). The only problem is Mr Moneybags though, who drags out the game HORRIBLY in later waves of 75 and beyond. Since I have it setup so he loops infinitely, I'd have to kill him to actually continue the game. Which can take up to 15-20 minutes at lv95. Sadly my computer cant take up high waves beyond 150... had it crash twice and Im not about to sit through hours on end of trying this again.

Mr Moneybags becoming nearly impossible to kill at waves past 80 = fact.
Mr moneybags dragging out the game to much because of this = fact
But please, do continue. I'd love to hear how a fact becomes an excuse.

Shitholy66 And I never said I did. I said it takes nearly 20 minutes to kill him at just level 95 (when using teleporters). I know he doesnt spawn after that, but 75 up to a 100 take a load of time on Moneybags alone compared to the other mobs.
Michel van der Linden yeah, it's a pain. They teleport a few times before they die and takes a long time. The void wall doesn't work as well past 50-70-ish. I did the tower. After 100, I just afk-ed. Every wave beyond 100 takes 1-2 minutes. Fps was dropping for mine as well so I made my character stare into a wall while afk. Fps improved. Went to 900+ before game glitched on me with an unkillable sapper. Throwing into lava doesn't even work. Still, it was pointless at the end.

This is fucking crazy/impressive. I got my husband to do endless with me so we could get the 50 wave cheevo, I was using the teleport traps and by the time we got to 50, nothing could actually get to the rift but it was taking us 5 minutes to kill each mountain troll and our hands hurt. I ended up throwing myself into the fire repeatedly. I see 19 hours, but how long did it actually take with breaks?
